Yesterday was our first time visiting. We are from out of town and wanted to NOT eat at a fast food chain for lunch after our appointments. I will be back. I ordered chicken livers with a side of red beans and rice. The livers were cooked perfectly and the red beans were so good. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and fried okra and she enjoyed it also. The food came out as fast as I would expect for made to order items. They were all hot and fresh. Prices were reasonable and the lady taking our order was very nice. We were greeted like friends. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean. I’m very happy to have discovered this place and can’t wait to bring my husband here.

This place is excellent. Nothing fancy and simple food but well cooked. The chicken is good if not the best it's not bad and the sandwiches are great and I highly recommend the cheese burger. Stay away from the poboy as they just split one patty between the two halves but if you get it on a bun it's huge and pretty good. It won't win any competitions but it beats the fast food places. The service is excellent, friendly and courteous but the best thing is the price. You can get a large cheeseburger, fries and a drink at lunch for $10! Cheaper than fast food and way better food and service.

Ordered two four-piece fish meals and a four piece dark meal and a burger combo the four piece fish meals were two piece chicken tender meals and had to go back for the four piece dark because we were hungry we started to eat the chicken that was supposed to be fish one of the tenders was raw if I could I would leave zero Stars this was the worst

Went to get food with friends and ordered a 4 peace dark two four-piece fish Combos and a burger combo we ended up not getting the 4-Piece dark chicken combo we also did not receive the 24-piece fish combos nor did receive one side we went back and got the four-piece and when we got home we realized that we only had two pieces of what we thought was fish but turned out to be chicken tenders will never be back wish I could give zero star horrible

I stopped in with my husband and mom for a quick lunch. They both ordered the chicken liver plate and I ordered the two-piece fish plate. Everything was fried well. The fish was good. My husband and mom said the livers were great! Our Bill was $20 and some change and you can't beat that price with the current food costs!! The young man that took our order was very polite and the food came out in about 7 to 10 minutes. Quiet laid back environment.
Flies everywhere. They got my order wrong I went all the way home they gave me fries instead of fried okra which is what I asked for. I called them and told them they gave me the wrong order. They didn’t apologize all they said over the phone was wait 20 minutes and come pick up the fried okra and make sure you bring back the fries. No apology at all just asked for the fries back. And when I got there after waiting 20 minutes before I came back and gave them they still didn’t have my okra ready they didn’t even know about it. So I had to wait another 20 minutes for my okra. I wish I could give it a -5 stars. Very bad customer service. This use to be my spot but not anymore.
