Waitress Emily seemed very unorganized. Didn't know specials or prices off hand. Mentioned she would get drink refills and forgot until we had to remind her. Didn't have her notes handy to review the specials and had to go get them and return to table. Indicated amberjack special with crawfish sauce so I decided to order it and she placed order to only return stating crawfish sauce not available. So I stated to order prime rib special and she said hold on and she will see if they can do crawfish sauce for me and returned with a yes. At that point I knew I was getting left overs on the sauce. Well my meal arrived after a long wait and it was not hot at all. I had to return the meal to be heated. Meanwhile my husband finished his meal and I waited for mine again. I confirmed by eating the sauce was not fresh. But I was hungry so I ate mostly the fish. Very disappointed because I was told this is a great restaurant. I will not recommend it. Sad but true.

The food was impeccable and I would their steaks against the top steak houses that I have visited. The only negative is that when we arrived they could not find our reservation that was made prior to arrival. Other than that grade A

My husband and I enjoyed our date night at Buddies. The food was absolutely amazing - I got the grilled salmon and hubby got the filet, both were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was wonderful - we were seated right by the kitchen. It was fun to watch them prepare everything. And, the service could not be beat. Thank you Buddies for our enjoyable evening!!

The food was amazing, the ambiance is homey and the service is excellent top notch. Emily and Carol made the dining experience a hell of a lot better. They even cut the birthday cake for us.

Our first time coming to Buddies, My sister was eager to try it out off of recommendations from several people. Everything we ordered was full of flavor. Our filet was perfect—medium, tender, and seasoned. The fried green tomato and crab cake was also delicious, with a hint of spice. We experienced excellent service from beginning to end! I'm sure we will be back again. I would've given five stars, but there are no TVs in the bar, so we missed part of the football game.

Great food, fresh, hot, and cooked to order preference. Upscale feel with price and menu but at home with casual comfort. Felt a little crowded, lower furniture style for a restaurant with a classy menu and a wine list drink menu. The room seems bright with light colored walls, although there are no accents or much decor, and dark furniture but I liked the black table clothes. But wait staff in all black was very plane and distracting.

The food was outstanding, the drinks were good, the service was great, the atmosphere was lacking not the most romantic or inviting. If they added some string lights above and added some plants and greenery to warm it up a bit. It could use a more welcoming atmosphere. I would suggest the owners or managers to go around town to the other restaurants and check out their atmosphere, those places are always full. People enjoy lighting and greenery.

The chargrilled oysters were barely cooked. Very disappointed. The steak was cooked properly, but not very hot . The mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. Ultimately not very happy with food. Probably will not return. The server, Cassy was very pleasant and sweet.

For my birthday, wife treated me to the chefs table ! Chef Mike and chef Matt treated us to an unbelievable 16 course unique menu that was to say the least out the box! You can tell both chefs are passionate about their craft. Our waitress, Cassie, was extremely attentive and personable. It was a night never to be forgotten. Anniversary soon. Guess where Anniversary dinner will be ?
