This is the best pizza in Hammond. The Godfather is a pizza you will remember and return for. The owner is there to make sure everything runs well, and the personal touch makes the difference!

**EDIT: We ended up going to Milan Wood Fired Pizza after being rudely ignored here, and they were THE BOMB. Go to Milan instead.**We came in and waited to be seated for probably 10 minutes, with employees asking if we were "here to pick up" and us saying that we needed a table. We watched others be seated who came in after us, and then they told us after a few more minutes of waiting that they were "booked up" for the evening even though it's 7:00 P.M. and they close at 10. I don't want to think that race played a part in this, but it's either that or they are just too incompetent to seat people at tables when they arrive. Either way, I will not be back due to the incredible rudeness and, at best, disorganization.

The place looks good, but I didn't get a chance to eat. We came in with 4 people. They asked if we were there for pickup, we said we just needed a table. They then ignored us while we stood by the door, but then immediately sat a couple that obviously came in 10 minutes after us. When they checked on us again, they said they were booked up and that it would be a long wait. We just left. One of two things happened: either they're so disorganized that they can't keep track of who came in first, or else they sat the other couple because they were white and we weren't. Either way, it's incredibly disrespectful.EDIT: Go to Milan's Wood Fired Pizza instead. Also in Hammond, better atmosphere, nicer staff, and the best pizza I've ever had.

By far the best pizza place on the Northshore in the Hammond
Great tasting pizza for a great price!Having a place that recognizes allergies such as dairy/lactose and takes care to make sure they handle your food properly is priceless. Their dough is dairy free and if told will take precautions when preparing your food.Big plus is the dough has no dairy and they use quality toppings making each bite more delicious without missing the cheese!Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza, make your own, same with clazone.Salads and sides!Dietary restrictions: Dairy/lactose allergy tried and true approved.

Pizza was hot and fresh. The service was great. Will be going backKid-friendliness: Yes it's kid friendly
Best pizza in Hammond, best pizza in south Louisiana! Service is always great. Very family oriented place; not a first-date or romantic get away; unless your partner loves great pizza! The Commodore and Greek pizzas are our go-tos but the wings, spaghetti, etc are all equally on point!

I went to try the GF pizza, as I have medical dietary needs. The staff was knowledgeable about their offering, able to answer my questions, got me exactly what I needed. It was super affordable, usually I am upcharged TONS for my medical requirements, so it was a great accessible price for a disabled person like me!Staff is friendly and approachable, several people were around and helping do various tasks, attending to people.Atmosphere was dive bar-esque. I mean that in a good way, like if I lived closer, I'd hang out there regularly. Easy.My pizza was FULL of toppings and delicious. (It looks like the crust is burnt in the pic, but it's not)
