How is this place not constantly packed with people is beyond me. The best Japanese cuisine in the Hammond/Ponchatoula area. The prices are reasonable. Our family favourite are the snow crab salad (no crunchy), chicken hibachi w/noodles, clear soup, New Orleans roll and a big chicken fried rice. The inside is small but we always order to go.

I ordered the hibachi shrimp and chicken The food was very mediocre. The hibachi rice was hard and sticky , the chicken was kind of bland .. rice, shrimp and chicken tasted like straight soy sauce and worestershir sauce. no real or distinctive flavor at all. I Probably wont patronize this business again . additionally you don't get a lot of food for the price you pay.

A very nice place to grab a fresh bite to eat. The Chicken Katsu is delicious, and the sushi is fresh. I highly recommend it! Staff was also very friendly and attentive!

A nice small sushi/hibachi establishment. There’s a good selection of sushi options, stopped in for a late lunch early dinner and ordered the #17 Sushi Pizza, #18 Crispy Fried Crawfish, S1 LSU roll, Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and Shrimp Tempura Bento Box. Sushi pizza was a first and it was delicious, will get again. Fried crawfish was also very delicious. LSU is a good roll with the right amount of heat. Bento box are always a good choice for trying a variety. You get a good amount of vegetable tempura with the Shrimp Tempura Bento, they can’t fit it in a bento box and serve it on plates. Service was great. Price was decent.

I give 4 stars because you do not know what is inside the regular sushi rolls, on the menu it doesn't list the contents. So something I order from somewhere else with the same name might be an entirely different roll. You have to ask individually. Usually the food is packaged well however last time the rolls were loose and hard to pick up. The food is always good.

Used to love this place. Then they changed their beef to something more sketchy. They also don't get your order right. I repeated my order THREE times and the lady on the phone just seemed annoyed. Tried ro speak to her at the counter and she walked away mid sentence into the back do she didn't even try to understand. She charged me for extra stuff and gave wrong change. Gave them $60 and tried to only give back $5 for a mean that was $44. Didn't even notice until after I left all the extra b.s. they added onto the receipt as well. Just go to O.E.C. better food and service

In town overnight and wanted a nice easy dinner that tastes great. This was it! The reviews got me here and did not disappoint. The owners are clearly hard working and deliver a great meal. I'll be back!Also took an order of house special Fried rice to go. Fantastic.
