Took my PREGNANT wife and kids to Santa Fe tonight ( Good Friday) had an amazing day wanted to top it off with a steak. The service was horribly backed up. My wife was eating a roll when she noticed a blueish color in the middle. She spit up the roll and showed me and sure enough the bread was molded. I showed it to the server. She said it was from the stove rack. So I shined my flashlight on the bread and the server said “ yes, that’s definitely mold. I’m disgusted. “ I told her I agree. My Pregnant wife began to cry scared bc she had just eaten mold. And the manager comes out with the same excuse. It’s from the stove rack. I told him I KNOW MOLD WHEN I SEE IT. The server agreed. He then said “ I’m not arguing with you “ and walked off. I never asked for a refund for anything, but my wife wouldn’t eat her meal at that point so when they brought it out. She told them to take it back and didn’t want it on the ticket. Keep in mind she’s pregnant. She was so upset, and the manager blew this issue off like he didn’t have time for it and was so hateful and rude. He didn’t come back out to speak to us and set another server over to try and compensate us on our starters. I’m not high class, but I have money and it wasn’t a matter of not being able to pay, but it was embarrassing being treated that way in a restaurant and my poor wife was in tears in front of my kids bc she was so scared being pregnant. I do not recommend anyone to eat here and something must be done abt their management, cleaning, and food storage.

The host didn’t even ask if we wanted outdoor seating, but instead put my wife and I in a booth with the ac blowing full force on my wife and the food took forever to come out and when it did it was very cold. Spent $$ and not happy at all.

It's one of, if not the best restaurant in Hammond. EASILY! Our server, Lillian, was exceptional from start to finish. There were three of us and every dish was delicious. The pork chops, our son ordered, were incredible, that's what I'm order the next time. I had the Death Burger, and I will return for it hopefully several more times. My wife had sirloin prepared a little more well than she ordered it, but it was so good there was no way it was going back.Great Job everyone, especially you Lillian. Thank you, again!

The steak was over cooked(ordered medium rare and came out almost well), over seasoned and salty and tough. The jumbo fried cheese wasn’t cooked in the middle. The rolls were hot and fresh. Definitely not worth the money we paid.

This has been one of my favorite steakhouses but so much stuff has happened over the last 3 times I went there I have to speak up..Server Lydia nice person.. She took our order I asked about the salad coming out before the food because they keep bringing it with the food or directly before.. oh no I'll get your salad out early, salad never came out.She said she got busy. It wasn't crowded at that time.I had to go say something it came out about 5 minutes before my food. I had to shove it down to keep my food from getting cold..salt and pepper shakers empty on mine and all the tables around me..I asked for my steak well came out med well...lots of red..my wife's came out so over cooked we took half home I had to cut parts of of it so my small dog could eat it .it was so hard...my wife did say well butterfly it..so she let it go..she was tired of getting it med well...WE NEED A break from Santa Fe for a while.. AND No Paper Towels in ladies room AND 6 tables around us dirty dishes on the tables..Was there when we sat down was there when we left. I don't like eating my food looking at all the dirty dishes all around me.This is all from this one trip to Santa Fe.......

I had the southwest shrimp poor boy.i wish they had the same shrimp in a wrap.It would be easier to eat.May be healthier.Each time I've eaten there the food has been hot and good.

We made prior reservations for a party of 12 for 6:00pm. After about 5 minutes upon arrival we were asked if we minded being separated. We told them no, we had made reservations to sit together. They said ok it will be just a few minutes. After waiting another 25 minutes to be seated, we asked how much longer it would be and we were then told it would be another 45 minutes before we were seated. Not only did we call the day before and make the reservation for 6:00pm but we called the day of the reservation to confirm it and make sure it was for the right amount of people. So after this we ended up leaving and going to Olive Garden, which was a much better experience, we were seated promptly, orders taken promptly, manager came and introduced himself and reassured us thay we would have great service and a great experience, which we did! This is not the first time we have had bad service at this Santa Fe. Last time was December 3, 2023 with another large group. It seems we aren't the only ones having poor service with them. Not sure if this is a "management level" problem or at the "employee level" problem, but until it improves, we won't be returning to this particular Santa Fe.

Service was horrible!!! Menu options were VERY limited!! Out of all drink options only thin available was sweetened tea water or diet drinks! No sausage no dinner rolls!!! JUST HORRIBLE!!!! FIRST AND LAST TIME DINING HERE!!!!
