A friend brought us two loaves yesterday. I had a ham sandwich last night, two slices with breakfast and a shrimp poboy tonight! Delicious French bread! We froze one loaf. We live in Marrero.

Long live Lejuenes! Love the ginger cakes and of course the bread. (Make sure you ask for the one in the plastic bag if you want it to stay fresh. The standard paper wrapper is great when you can be sure that it's going to be eaten quickly.

I created an ortho-map of the area for my X-plane simulator and saw it as I "flew" down Bayou Teche. Last month I was visiting a friend and we happened to be driving through town and I happened to remember that the bakery was here and we looked it up. I am glad that we did.The bread is excellent. I love it with a glass of milk. I bought some Ginger Cake to take back to Texas for my wife. It is not as sweet as she is used to eating, which is actually good for her, but once she got over that, she loved it.I hope to be back again in a few months.

I believe this is a fraudulent business. I e ordered over a week now let's just say 1 1/2 week to be exact. I've been calling and leaving vm and still no response wth Anyone else getting the same??
