Went in for the first time today to try the Reuben. By far the best sandwich I've ever had. Told them it was my first time and I was a college student and not only did they give me a discount but a free cookie as well. Found my new favorite lunch spot for sure!

I kid you not, the French dip is so good that I went back and ordered a second one (and scarfed it down). They might be known for their Reubens but that French dip is here to steal the show bby. Was in town for the week and our lunch at Acadian Superette was by far the best I had in Lafayette.

If you are even slightly considering eating here, the answer is YES, go. This place is an absolute experience. The restaurant itself is quaint, clean & unsuspecting. The menu can best be described as “diverse”: BBQ, Poboys, a salad even. We had the pleasure of enjoying the 2-meat plate & a reuben with french fries. If I could only use one word to describe the food it would be Phenomenal. If I lived in Lafayette, I’d go back tomorrow again for lunch.

I had a cordial conversation with who I assumed was the on-site manager a few weeks ago to let them know that we love the place and that the only concern was that a lot of their dishes are over salted to the point of disgust. On our last take-out order this week, the fries STILL had so much salt on them. They say talk to the staff so they can fix it, but it gets to the point of frustration that we don’t want to have the hassle of driving all the way back to return the food and then our lunch break is over. Stop over-salting your food.

Coming in from Texas, while just about every restaurant I have been to in Lafayette has been spot on, Acadian Superette has been a gem on its own! Every aspect has been 5/5! Will be back! Definitely recommend!

Food was amazing and the patio was so cute! Will definitely go back.
We got the bbq plate and brisket sammy. Best bbq I’ve had in a while. Their home style fries are amazing!! Get that with the rette sauce. Service is very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere indoors stays true to the neighborhood grocer. The back patio has a lot of potential to draw a good crowd, so I hope they’ll eventually be open later. Will definitely be back.

I've yet to try anything here that I remotely regret. BBQ is on point. The Reuben is one of the best. The Don burger is everything I want when I have a burger craving. And the fries are fresh and remind me of the homemade fries my dad used to make (just a little crispier...sorry dad!).Make it a point to stop here!
