Awesome place for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and chill. I love the decor, and it seems there's been something unique, some pretty lights on a festive display for example, every time I visit. Love their egg and cheese croissant, so fresh! Also tried their wrap minus the wrap and must say it was an excellent way to get my veggies. Everything was prepared with care and out quickly enough for me to get back and enjoy it during my lunch break. Thanks for being here!

Had some item menus you don't see everyday. For example, Scotch eggs in several varieties. Breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pastries, coffee, tea, etc. all your standard cafe/coffee shop items w/ a decent selection to choose from. Interior has a decent amount of seating with no frills. Outdoor patio is fairly large and gets good morning sun on a cool winter morning. I'd guess In The afternoon the building & trees block the sun which would be great on a hotter day. Not over priced for what you get. This is such a nice cafe, and the food is great. We had the scotch egg, BLT, one of their specialty burgers, and a delicious pecan chocolate chip cookie. I will definitely be back to support this small business!
Husband and I visiting Lafayette for our anniversary. Husband has never been to Louisiana so I’m trying to introduce him to some of my favorite things. Black cafe, cappuccino, and beignets 5 stars!

I heard that the scotch eggs here were worth trying, and they definitely lived up to the hype. I also tried the breakfast sandwich and black coffee which were both delicious. I also picked up one of their t-shirts and I was very impressed with the quality, the shirt was simple but well made and the fabric was very soft. 10/10 will definitely be back next time Im in the area.

Been coming here about once a week for the past year, and I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point. Both the breakfast and the lunch are fresh and delicious. I love that they have extra condiments like hot sauce available. Removed 1 star for service because they've gotten my order wrong once or twice (out of dozens).Owner is very friendly and the whole staff is awesome.Vegetarian options: Breakfast sandwiches can be with or without meat.

Best boss I ever had, worked well with me. Very patient with his employees, very generous to his employees and customers. Definitely makes you feel like family. Very patient with the handicap. Very fun energy and cutting up when we work. His employees I worked with were so good and patient with me. I was blessed and still blessed in a lot of ways. If only I lived closer, I do volunteer work for Mr Trey.He speaks highly of his family especially his wife, I've met his kids a few times, so adorable and friendly.Definitely good food and coffee and great atmosphere. You can feel the love our Louisiana Cajun Creole Culture. ☮️?✍️?
