Food is great but service is horrible. The owner’s/managers should address this problem. You can have great food but don’t forget about customers experience. Especially with long wait time.

Excellent po boys and drink specials, however the girl at the window today was very rude and maybe she should consider a new job. If you’re gonna serve people, waiting on customers is NOT for you !

The most delicious poboys I’ve ever eaten!!!!! The Hot Hot brings me back to Nashville

Absolutely delicious shrimp poboy, served quickly and made fresh. I will most definitely be back on my next swing through town. Parking is a little difficult at lunch, but that's literally the only complaint. A true gem!

Unique menu here for a poboy shop. They do have the classic poboy options available but they put a fun spin on them. New specials are created weekly but every now and then, they will bring back old favorites.

THE best po’boy ever! Boudreaux: catfish and blue cheese coleslaw! Huge! Visited during “curbside only” period! Staff was efficient and friendly! Will return!

Great sandwhich spot that offers modern takes on classics as well as innovative new styles. Always pop in when I'm back in town. Highly recommend.

Well beyond "pleasantly surprised"; I am totally impressed with the quality of the food. This place was amazing! I can't wait to go back!

It's a little over priced. The Pop's Soda is really expensive. The food is fine, but when you have so many good restaurants around, it needs to stand out.

Where to begin...food is always in point, hot fresh and delicious. Specials and classics are always great choices. Do yourself a favor and try the fried pickled okra!

I was driving through Lafayette on a road trip and got the red bean and falafel po-boy. I'm so happy they have a vegetarian option because I've been meaning to try this for a while. It's not traditional but it's very delicious. I got the 6 inch. It has two large falafels that are squished to fit the bread. There's some shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a little bit of red bean. The falafels aren't greasy and don't have a super crispy outside but they have a great brownish color and a lot of flavor. The bread has a chewy texture to it. It looks like a baguette but it's quitters different. Overall, it was great and the service was quick. Amazing place to grab a quick bite that will fill you up.

Best poboys in Lafayette, hands down! Sorry, but these poboys beat that other poboy institution by far (locals know which one I'm referring to). The Darlene meatball poboy is my favorite - rich dark brown stew gravy and meatballs on soft French bread, what's not to love? The fried shrimp poboy is fantastic too, and the fries are thin cut and perfectly cooked so that they're crispy but not hard, just the perfect texture. The cashier was very patient as we ordered (It takes us a while to decide because everything is always a so good there). Everything we have ever tried there is delicious - they have excellent quality control - the bread is always soft and fresh and they don't skimp on the poboy filling. Always tons of flavor and unique poboy offerings as well as more traditional ones. Try this place out, you won't regret it!

Probably the best Po' Boy I have ever had the privilege to eat.

It was my first time trying the delcambre dandy and it was awesome ! The shrimps were hot, juicy and crunchy and I loved the hint of lemon. Definitely will come back for more. It gets really crowded during the weekends!

Great food, Nice Staff. Nice interior & Selection of food.

Good po boy sandwich's. Just too much mayo in the sandwich. Made me kind of stick. If they used less of it and added pickles. Ymir would be way better. Bread was crunchy and flaky.

We had the hamburger poboy. It was very tasty and fills you up fast with all they put on it. French fries were yummy too.

I love a good roast beef debris poboy. Pop's Poboys is great!!!! Flavorful, shredded beef with a gravy that gave it the perfect consistency. Crispy, fresh french bread hugged this 5 star poboy. Best roast beef poboy!

I finally got to check this place out and it was really good! I had the surf & turf poboy and it was great! The bread was fresh, the beef & oysters were hot and the horseradish sauce was on point. My wife tried the banh banh shrimp and it was pretty good. Some of the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, but others were cooked well. I think it was a mix of fresh and some that had been sitting in the warming tray too long. The hush puppies and butter were unreal! Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try the hot hot chicken.

First time here. I got the Jake and Mac and cheese. Cody got the crawfish boiled sausage and greens. The mac and cheese is actually spaghetti noodles and it was awesome. The Jake was awesome, the bread was perfectly toasted and very tasty!!!! Cody said the greens were some of the best hes had and enjoyed his sandwich too!!!! Clean and appealing inside and friendly staff!!! We will be back!!!

I guess I'm not a traditionalist because this has been my favorite poboy on all my visits to New Orleans (only a handful so far to be fair). We got the Monster Mash - a seasonal Halloween flavor with a slice of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fried onion, and green pea mayo. When I unwrapped it I knew it was going to be delicious - you know like ugly delicious. And I was not disappointed. Yummy tender meatloaf with buttery mashed potatoes. Even without the traditional dressing the poboy was not dry at all. It was dripping meatloaf and potatoes as I ate my way through it. The bread is also good - soft but with a slightly crispy crust. To round out the meal we got the fried okra pickles - salt brined whole okra deep fried in a light crispy batter. An amazing idea for those who love okra. And then washed it all down with locally bottled Swamp Pop.

This is definitely a must-visit in Lafayette. I've only had the falafel poboy because I love it THAT much, it's SO good and idc how much you love meat, you need to try it! It's so flavorful and has the crunchy outside and smooth inside. It's fairly inexpensive too for the size of the poboy :D I will say, I didn't love the macaroni fries that much. I don't think it needed the pickled onion and I think elbow macaroni would've been soooo much better than spaghetti noodles! But I digress, I love the industrial barnhouse interior and the plentiful seating. GREAT for lunch groups!

Parisa Mirdamadi

Delicious poboys that can’t be beat! They have a number of fusion-style poboys to try (if you’re feeling adventurous) along with some of the more classic options. The tasty sodas are a nice touch - it’s a wonderful spot downtown to get lunch with friends.

Every time I come into town I get the buffalo Soulja. Haven't really tried anything else. A bit messy but worth the napkins lol. Must try!
