I hadn't been to Cotten's in years. I brought my daughter and we had a wonderful lunch. I had a truly fantastic burger and fries, and my daughter had the chicken tenders, which she described as the best she's ever had. I feel honestly stupid having been missing out on Cotten's for all these years. Best burger in Lake Charles! Also, the owner is manning (womanning?) the grill! Much love for this place!

KEITH NAUBORS, EMERITUS I ASKED HIM FOR A CHICKEN SHACK ( BATON ROUGE) HAMBURGER AND HE ORDEREDE A COTTONS OLD FASHION CHEESE BURGER, AND IT TASTED BETTER THAN THE CHICKEN SHACK AND IVE LOVED KATE AND SUPPORTED KATE*S NUSINESS SINCE 1984!!!!!

Wanted to love this just because of the history. Unfortunately, it is extremely dirty inside, to the point I am not certain how they are still open. Bugers are small on a large bun, and veggies taste like they are at the edge of going bad. Fries were ok, ordering location was not clear. It was an overall unpleasant experience. Parking is rough. Extremely limited seating, think strip Mall Subway.

The man the took our order was nice enough and the food didn't take too long. The issue I'm having it that the female cook (wearing a girl on grill shirt and a hat) was extremely rude to her coworkers and costumers. We can all see her pitching fits, making faces, saying rude things, and throwing things around. Honestly killed the mood for me. She was very very rude to anyone who approached her and the faces she made were so ugly. Had she not been there I would rate my experience a 5 out of 5.
