Tried a small two topping pizza and a small Caesar salad. Pizza was good. Liked the crust, sauce and the cheese. A little light with the toppings though. There were a few tables open but had a good crowd. The wait time was about 20 - 25 minutes to get my take out. Not a lot of choices when it comes to pizza in Lake Charles, but I found this place better than the local, long time pizza place around the corner. / Followed up one year later and still coming back for the pizza.

The fine dining of Pizza! Absolutely fantastic pizza and GREAT service! A pleasant surprise every time we go.Update: Fantastic as usual! You just can't go wrong.Wheelchair accessibility: I am a BAKA amputee and a full-time wheelchair user. I had zero problems gaining access to the restaurant. I did not use the restrooms during our visit.

This is the third AND LAST time we will eat at this restaurant. My hubby and I waited over 1.5 hours for our pizza and calzone while my son and his friends waited almost 2 hours for theirs, and they ordered way before us. We arrived after them and sat at the bar. I questioned my waitress when she finally brought our food (there are a lot of tickets) and then got up and questioned their waitress (they are short staffed).The first time we came here, we had a long wait for our food. We chalked it up to them being new. The second time we came here, we had an extremely long wait again. We spoke with the manager this day. Pizzas kept getting mixed up and taken once they were cooked without waitresses paying attention to the tickets. Tonight was the third and final straw. The wait was absurd and ridiculous.The one thing all 3 visits have in common.....2 hour wait times AFTER the food was ordered. They clearly haven't changed their service level, but we can certainly change our choice of pizza dining.If you are completely free, not overly hungry (you will wait), and have plenty of time to spare (LIKE HOURS), then this is the place for you. If you want to go to a restaurant, sit down and order a meal which is served in a decent time, then pick another pizza place. There are plenty in town.

This is some baller pizza. I love a food place where you can fill up and have a good meal or two worth of leftovers. Their Kosmic Karma is an awesome spin on my fav classic margherita pizza. Also the waitresses are super nice.Will def make this a regular spot. ❤️❤️Vegetarian options: Tons of the main menu items are meat-free!

Extremely slow for a pizza restaurant. Meals came out missing items, was told after that they was out of those items, no substitutions were offered. . 6 people in our group. Food came out to 2 at a time and 10 minutes apart. Disappointed

The pizza that me and my friend ordered was so greasy, absolutely covered in grease, I’m talking about a puddle of grease under that slice. We ordered a brownie, and the brownie tasted like it was burnt in some parts and raw in others.

The food there was great! all of the workers are so kind and even we saw the managers coming out and interacting with customers! It was a very fun date experience with my husband, food was AWESOME! Our waitress didn’t mind explaining any questions we had about the menu or drinks and whatnot. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and didn’t have long wait times even when busy! :)

During our visit, we ordered the cloud 9 wings, a pizza, and a salad, as well as drinks from the bar. While the food and drinks were excellent, unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress was quite clumsy, causing napkins to fall into our glasses and removing drinks from the table when they were only halfway full. Furthermore, our order was incorrect, and it seemed that the errors continued throughout our visit.I would like to emphasize that my feedback is not a reflection on the delicious quality of the food. However, I do believe that there is a need for better training of the wait staff. Although our waitress was young, we felt disappointed with the overall experience. We also encountered an issue with being charged for drinks that were mistakenly thrown away, and despite seeking assistance from the manager, we were unable to resolve the matter.It is my hope that this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe that a thorough and professional approach to training and customer service could greatly enhance the overall dining experience at Mellow Mushroom.

Service was absolutely horrible, once seated we waited over 10 Mins to get a waiter even for our drink order. We placed our order at the same time for several different items. Took FOREVER to get appetizers and they didn't come at the same time. Once our pizza came out, we were missing an appetizer and when I told the waiter to just remove it since we didn't get it, she responded with "yea I know, I didn't put it in, it's not on your ticket" ughh ok then... no apology, or I'm sorry. Food was great! But definitely won't go back to this location.
