The food is great and customizable, which I always enjoy, but the manager Anthony really makes the place shine. He is really nice and helpful, and the pizzas he make are hands down the best. I also love the new gelato, green apple being my favorite. Would absolutely recommend this place and I eat here often.

First time here. I did a Google question about the place before coming asking about allergies and the peanuts that they offer. The owner was quick to reply and answered my question. The first gentleman I spoke with was very polite and helpful. He asked if this was my first time here and walked me through the process. All the pizzas are one size. You then go down the line and pick your toppings (think Subway). I choose the 8 topping special. I ordered it as a take out. The toppings we're ok as was the crust but the sauce lacked flavor. Overall it made me think "mall pizza". Oddly enough, this location is connected to a mall. I will more than likely look somewhere else next time.

I did an online order for pickup on a Saturday night. My boyfriend picked it up for us. I wasn't that hungry so I thought I ordered Bisque and Cheesy Bread. However, come to find out, the Bisque was actually a 10" Corn N Crab Bisque Pizza. It was the grossest pizza I've ever eaten. It was so off putting to me, I only took a couple of bites and threw it in the trash. The Cheesy Bread was the thinnest Cheesy Bread I've ever had served to me ever from any restaurant anywhere, much less a pizza place. I recommend a new recipe be followed moving forward which requires the use of thick crust instead of the thinnest crust. My boyfriend's pizza was delicious, but was too light on sauce. We both regretted not ordering some dipping sauce that we could have used to try to compensate, but neither of us usually want dipping sauce. I have ordered a custom 10" pizza from there many times and been blown away by how delicious it is and the quality of ingredients used so I know there is potential here if the right thing is ordered, but now I see some room for improvement in the area of the Cheesy Bread and the online ordering. As you can see in the attached image, there is not a photo or a description included with the Bisque menu item and since it seems different than the pizzas listed above, I thought it was not in fact a pizza, especially since I was tired and hungry while placing the order. lol

The place was empty when we arrived. It was 10:40am on a Holiday, Monday. The person who was helping us was courteous and professional. The pizza tasted really good. It was cooked perfectly. I had the cauliflower crust which was a little brown but it was great crispy. My husband had the Cajun one and he was happy with it. I just had two problems with this establishment. The tables and chairs were fairly clean, the order area was not clean. On the backs of the registers. The handwashing area looked gross as well it has a bunch of hard water stains and possibly soap scum. The biggest thing I did not like was that the sauces are not refrigerated by the order area. I'm not sure how long they are out like that but it was worrisome to me. Luckily we got there right after they opened. The toppings looked like they were treated alright and kept cool. The person used gloves when he made our pizzas and I was thankful for that. The finishers also looked a little unkempt. I posted pictures of both things.

UPDATE 3 days later: I just noticed someone left a positive review the same day I left my review and the owner responded the same day to that person as well as responding the same day to previous ones before that but didn't respond to mine lol. I guess from the reviews I read, the owners only respond to positive reviews and a few of negative ones where they blame the customer, take no accountability, and have sarcastic comments for their valued customer like Cindy, who complained she got sick from the seafood. Never once did Cindy say it was food poisoning and never once did owner apologize for her experience. Being that I actually work at an urgent care, I know there are plenty of reasons why Cindy could have been given an injection related to nausea and pain NOT allergies. So before you copy and paste a Google definition of food allergy or food poisoning, do some extensive research on the topic at hand or just apologize for the experience and keep it moving. I just love supporting small businesses for years like Pizza Artista, where i tip EVERYTIME, just to be intentionally ignored by the owner, the one time I ACTUALLY report a negative experience i had. It looked like the person who made the pizza personally counted each crawfish that was on the pizza. Considering the fact that this particular pizza has gone up in price a couple of times, at the very least I expect to get what I paid for. There was barely any sauce on the pizza which made it very dry. There was absolutely nothing flavorful about the pizza except for the balsamic drizzle that I added. Pizza tasted like the cardboard box it came in. I couldn't believe how bland and dry the pizza was. I forced myself to eat two slices because I was hungry at work and couldn't leave to bring it back. The swamp daddy pizza is my favorite because it usually has a seafood boil taste. I'm not a pizza person but this is the only place I will order pizza from due to thier varieties. Not sure what happened this time but I was very disappointed. :(

Pizza Artista has good pizza for the most part. It's a replication of Pieology; if your familiar with ieology then Pizza artista is using the same concept and style which is probably why people think Pizza artista is a large chain because Pieology is. My rating is for the ordering and staff experience, you definitely get the vibe that they want every penny on everything; I placed my order over the phone to find out it's less money ordering the same thing online. And thats fine but hard to be excited to come back when feeling like I got ripped off.
