Ordered an Asian chicken salad to go. I thought I would give them yet another chance after the last salad — a Greek chicken salad. Please note that both of these salads say they are “chicken”. But, this may be the last time I order from Coffee Rani in Mandeville. The salads have gone downhill. There’s barely anything more than lettuce in these salads. A couple of bites of chicken and a couple of other things thrown sparsely in as an afterthought. If I had wanted a bag of salad, I could have bought one for 90% less than I paid for these salads. Coffee Rani used to be the place to get a great salad. Those days are gone. The can’t recommend them anymore.

Busy place but it's because it's really good food. Everything is so fresh and nothing seems "out of the can"

Use to be great! Food has gone down. Maybe new chefs. Food doesn’t taste the same as it always has. Last 3 times we went no one was happy when their food.
Though the manager was very nice,
It’s been several times where I’ve been and the food has been lackluster at best. The amount of protein has gone down significantly to the point that I might as well spend the 40 dollars are the grocery store and just make it myself.
I will probably not be going back for awhile as it’s been consistently wrong or bad since the beginning of fhe years. I keep going back thinking it will be different and it just seems to disappoint more and more.

Excellent service, everyone happy and helpful. Food was very good. Love the fried potatoes for breakfast. Very clean, bright interior. Bring you reading glasses the menu is hard to read because font size is way to small. However the folks behind the counter will assist you. They are so nice.

Stopped with a friend for coffee. Stayed for lunch. I had a Vietnamese coffee. Was flavorful. We sat under the umbrellas. Was shaded and comfortable.
My friend had the Summer Fruit Salad. I had the Chicken Paillard.

Gah, love this place
Consistent but I think it should be listed as $$, not just $. Most of the menu is16.00 or more so putting the options as $10-20, $20-30 is a little deceiving

Food is fantastic but this place gives me crippling anxiety. The line is ALWAYS long at lunchtime and you’re always standing uncomfortably close to the tables of other patrons dining. After standing in an uncomfortable and unorganized long line for about 20-25 minutes, be prepared to wait another 20-25 to receive your food, if you can even find a place to sit. It is difficult to find a table after you order at lunchtime. This place is too small for the amount of business and traffic that goes in and out of here. Also, god forbid you need anything once you’ve gotten a table and received your food. You can basically attempt to get one of the girls bussing tables or passing out food attention or you could brave the long unorganized “to-go/order in” line again. Choice is really yours. I enjoy the food here but I rarely come here because it gives me anxiety.
