My daughter's band and classmates were playing here. This was my first time, but it won't be my last. The food was delicious. I built my own calzone, it was huge! I was able to eat from it for three days. My youngest had the meatball appetizer and it filled her up.

Where do I start. I have been a chef for many years and I'm told that chefs can be the worst critics, but here I think I'm justified. At the table we ordered the bread knots as an appetizer and I had the eggplant parm. The bread knots were swimming in butter and the bottom was soggy with it, but still edible. I received my egg parm. The pasta was sitting in what looked like a pool of water with a bit of tomato sauce. It looked like they didn't drain the pasta before adding the sauce. The pasta itself is either over cooked, or it was prepped a couple of days ago. It was the opposite of al dente. Also the pasta was either lightly salted or not salted at all, which is important to do while the pasta is cooking. The eggplant itself looked deep fried, which isn't totally bad, but it was dark from either over cooking, the oil is old or it was par cooked and left under a heat source. The sauce on the eggplant wasn't watery, which is why I believe that the pasta was watery due to not draining it enough. The cheese was fine. I came in really hungry, I'm a bigger guy, and I'm looking forward to having a parm dish all day. I only managed to eat about half of it. 20 minutes later I ran to the restroom and threw it all up. That never happens to me. I let the staff know that there was a mess in the men's room and from what I hear, about 30 minutes later, it had not been cleaned yet. Eventually the server came by to see how the food was and I explained the situation. She got the owner l. He said that this is the first time he has heard of this happening and he offered to take the dish off of the bill and offered me a different dish, but I had lost my appetite. I hope he sees this and knows that I mean no ill will. This was my expirience, and I hope that it is helpful for the future of this restaurant.

Food is always good. Myself and my two children have been coming here a long time. Today was awful. We got kicked out of our seating because they had a party rent the whole deck area apparently, though they have a private room for parties. However, we moved. We order our food and we get our appetizer and my son’s food. And THEN my daughter’s food later. And I still hadn’t received my Alfredo so I asked to cancel. Then the owner comes and introduces himself and says, you can’t cancel something after you order it just because you’re full and don’t want to pay for it. Normally people ask for a box and take it to go. Mind you, the whole time the food still never came out. I refused to pay for something I never received. And didn’t get to eat. THEN he brought us the check and stood there and told me he was waiting for payment. RUDE. When I told him my kids were still eating, he walked 5 steps away and HOVERED and watched me as if he thought I was going to dine and dash. When I asked why we were being treated this way he told me cancelling food once ordered isn’t how it works in the restaurant industry. And if I feel the need to go somewhere else I am more than welcome. Smh. My children are biracial and I WHOLE HEARTEDLY BELIEVE I was being profiled with those old service industry stereotypes, having been in the industry for 10+ years myself. This guy CLEARLY doesn’t understand how to handle people. We have been eating here for YEARS. We love live music and my kids love the spaghetti and meatballs.
WILL NOT BE BACK.

My family has been big fans of Coscino's since we moved to the area 6 years ago. However, whatever new ownership is doing is terrible. We ordered the chicken parm, and out came a bowl full of undercooked noodles, a 2oz slice of fried chicken cutlet, and clearly mass-market bread. For $22 a plate, I expected what we've been used to for all these years; to leave nearly bursting from good food and great atmosphere. Instead I got half the food quantity, less than half in quality, while paying a higher price and getting terrible service. We left hungry, and that's saying something in Louisiana.
