Shrimp corn soup was made with a roux, whole kernel corn and a small amount of onions. Should have come with a green salad or potato salad for the price like the bowl of seafood gumbo does. My friend got the cheeseburger which was good. Fried pickles were exceptional! The cherry milkshake was the best I had in years. The roux was perfect in the soup; just that the soup needed a few more spices perhaps bell pepper.

This place right here has been my go to for many many years. They have a to go walk up window inside and outside along with a stay in you car and drive through window or you could go in have a seat and eat in. I love the food but I'm not one for shrimp/seafood boxes so I don't know about that. But the chicken, burgers, club sandwiches and roast beef poboys are so good. My only hiccup with this place is the price. They are a little on the high side.

The portion sizes are so tiny for $13 I got 4 shrimp, 2 3 inch pieces of fish, small amount of fries and small amount of salad then a really small slice of toast. When I say the salad and fries were a small amount I mean they didn't even fill up the side slots in a take out box, very sad. The only reason I'm giving them a 2 star review is because the lady at the window was nice and the food tasted halfway good. It took me 45 minutes to get my food which is so sad for the small portion size you get. I will not be back. I would not recommend to people, unless you have a really small appetite.

Have daily specials. Can call ahead and pick up in the drive thru. The two ladies that work there are wonderful and very friendly?. The food is great, The hamburger steak is so tender and tasty.I will definitely be stopping in whenever I'm in the area.

Sue's has the best roast beef poboys on the planet. They are so good I've only had 1 other thing from there and its the softshell crabl poboy which was also good.

Look past the appearance after walking inside. The temperature was a little warmer inside than I cared for. It's mom and pop cooking. The Red Beans and Fried Pork Chops were amazing ? Service was awesome!

I LOVE the shrimp pasta salad!! I took a little drive to Maurepas to get out of the house during the Coronavirus shelter at home. It was a nice drive along the river for a change of scenery. The workers were great working the drive thru window. If you've never been -- it's a great cafe!! Go by to see Sue & her staff.
