Have eaten here about six times in past two weeks. Atmosphere--like most Carrabba's locations--is five stars all day. The food is delicious as always. Here's what makes this location a 4-star rating (as opposed to 5): Peroni beer on tap has been consistently unavailable. All fried appetizers (roughly a third of the appetizers listed) were unavailable during first four visits. Mushroom appetizer--delicious, but the four mushrooms may be very large or tiny. Veal marsala, lobster pasta, salmon and lamb are excellent. Caesar salad, lentil soup, spinach and asparagus also excellent. All desserts are excellent (try the limoncello)--but the tiramisu's better at Olive Garden. Very good pinot grigio y pinot noir house wines. All servers, hosts / hostesses, bartenders and managers are very polite and friendly--but it seems their hands are tied when it comes to being creative (for example, when the fryer was down, we asked if they could pan-sear some calamari; we also asked if a suitable happy hour alternative could be substituted when another wasn't available--negative response both times). All in all, great experience, also nice open layout and outstanding table setting, super clean streak-free wine glasses, dishes and tableware. Will eat here a few more times during this visit to the area!

I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit to this world class Italian restaurant. Yes, I know it's a franchise joint, but everything about it says world class. We had 24 people in our group and the excellent wait staff handled the situation with ease and pure professionalism. The proprietor, Blake Bonneval, was spectacular. He was always checking and talking to everybody making sure everything was okay. Even though we had such a large group, the food came Timely and hot. All the food is fresh and made in house. Delicious! Also, one of the most important things about a restaurant is it's cleanliness, and this place is above and beyond that. I am anxiously looking forward to going back there again! I hope all who read this review go and have the great experience I had.

I can’t say enough good things about Carrabas. Our server, Sarah, was so friendly and provided excellent service. She was very attentive. The young man who served our food was also so friendly. They are both an asset to your restaurant. This was our first time, but it won’t be our last.

Restaurant was not very busy. Waitress took our order, but did not know about the menu and allergens. She went to ask about allergens, but then did not report back to me accurately. A different person served the food. Then we could not get anyone's attention so save our lives. The manager came to the table, he was argumentative about what was or what was not an ingredient in dishes on the menu. The food was mediocre and we ended up leaving the restaurant early since it was very frustrating. So disappointing.

When we walked in it seemed like a very fancy and nice space but boy were we wrong. One they messed up our drink order . Then they messed up our soup and salads and gave us the wrong order. The appetizers were decently good no problem there. Then we got to our main dish which is when the real problem started here. One my noodles were very bland and so was my chicken and also it was kinda dry. Also the mashed potatoes were served cold so that wasn't the best. Also they didn't know what creamed spinach is and they served it sauteed. We were not very happy about our experience with this restaurant.
My wife and I have really grown to love the Metairie Carrabba’s. When it originally opened years ago, we went once and were not impressed so despite leaving nearby we never went back.
A friend mentioned it maybe 6-months ago and she swore it was pretty good so we gave it another chance and we are glad we did. We now maybe go 3 times or so a month.
We had one problem with a server lately and I asked for a manager and Blake promptly solved the issue and took care of us the rest of the night. The food has always been very good, the service pretty quick and the bar service very good too. Our two favorite servers are Mel and Sara but with the exception of that one night the service has always been great too.
I recommend Carrabba’s for a dinner for two or a small group of friends. Their “wine dinners” are also a hit for us. It’s nice to have somewhere close to home that you know is rock solid on the food & service. Thanks to Blake and his team!
