Overrated and overpriced. 12.75 for a bowl of gumbo and 7.70 for garlic bread.

Had the onion rings, large italian salad, and seafood plater split them all with my wife. Great food. The coating on the seafood was crispy yet moist. The fish was cooked perfect moist just right. The oysters were superb moist and relishes. The shrimp was also cooked perfect not rubbery not undercooked. I will use R and O as the bar from witch I compare seafood platers from now on. Great seafood platter enough for two with a large salad. Well done.

the thick blonde fake waitress with the big fake smile don’t remember her name because of her attitude she got mad because we used two of her tables for 5 people was a joke and terrible. I ordered two appetizers and not an entree and she goes out loud you’re not gonna order anything? Didn’t ask if we needed boxes and rushed us out the door. I’m a big foodie and always tip 30% if it’s decent service great service gets 40% she only got 20 and that’s because I felt sorry for her. It’s a shame a place has such great food but horrible people serving it who aren’t genuine and don’t give a damn. I won’t be coming back ever again

We got the seafood gumbo, hush puppies and the stuffed crab plate. None of it was bad but nothing is that good. Unfortunately this is not a place i would recommend.

Old school Italian creole joint, with friendly services. Every item on their menu is done well and above the portion size that you would expect. Very nostalgic for native New Orleanians
A real neighborhood spot and institution in the New Orleans area. Family atmosphere. Food is always amazing and I dream of their Italian salad. The only salad I ever crave. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

It pains me to say this, but after YEARS of loving R&O, we felt that it wasn’t as great as we usually experience. It was a bit greasy and over-fried. Hoping it was an off-night and they’ll be back to superior fried seafood and onion rings soon.

waitress was very nice after I spilled my drink on the floor, don't laugh at me. Food was good although slightly overpriced in my opinion, around 12-22 dollars for a good sandwich. Their muffuletta was very good.

Local eatery where you go for the food. It was all delicious, and our server efficient and informative. No frills, but they usually have fantastic food. Place was packed. If locals fill up a place, you know it’s the place to eat. Went with friends (all of us from Mississippi, but three of us previous NOLA residents). We’ll be back. Making it a new must go to restaurant when we’re back in town.
