Great staff and very accommodating !! Food wasn't salty ,,wasn't a fan of Pork Chop only because I didn't like the specific seasoning, . But it was very tender !! Will definitely go back and try other menu items ! Very affordable !!!!

Worst experience ever !!! Waitress came to our table and told us she needed to go check out customers before taking our order which took her a good 30 mins to do another waitress finally came around and took our order waited another 45 mins still no food told our waitress to cancel order and we left !!! Will never be back !!!

I was fully prepared to enjoy my whole dining experience. This was my first time going to Kayla's Kitchen. The inside is underwhelming. Too much wide open space, and no atmosphere. That's fine. I was there to eat somewhere new.My waitress, who was very polite (as were all of the employees) took my order. When she did, she kept recommending stuff that I could choose that wouldn't increase the price of my meal. So I ordered two sides, a roll, and a dessert. I thought with everything I ordered, I'd have to get the rest to go. Wrong. The main dish I ordered, chicken and stuffing, was 90% stuffing, and 10% shredded chicken. Everything was in bowls no larger than the palm of my hand. And the bread pudding tasted like it had come from Walmart's bakery, with some whipped cream covering it up for some reason. If not for the friendly staff, and the new experience, this would be a two star review. I'll try them again soon, to see if I have a better experience.

Home made country cooking that is delicious and served to your special order and taste. Excellent food served in home style settings with your personal waitress insuring your fill of perfectly cooked delicious meals.

Kayla is a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen. You can tell she must have been in the kitchen with her grandma from a young age by her natural capabilities. She creates a new menu every day and it is the best comfort food I have ever had. The most special thing about her though is the vital role she plays in her community, serving churches, nursing homes, and even funerals. She is such a genuine, loving, helpful lady. If you're hungry, this is where you want to be!

I absolutely love mom and pop diners. This is another welcoming and homecooking place. I have driven by this restaurant so many times and had never seen it. It is hidden in a shopping strip, off of Trenton street, a popular shopping area in West Monroe, Louisiana. A friend invited me today and what a pleasant surprise! I will definitely come back and will bring others! Daily plate lunches. Easy to order with selections to choose from. Quick service. Not to mention reasonable price and oh so yummy! Just to note, there is more parking if you make the block and drive to the back of the restaurant with a back entrance as well. I did not know that either. What a gem of a place.

Service was great, but the food was disappointing. We had very dry chipotle pork chop with no flavor. Sides selected turnip greens and northern beans had very little flavor. Mexican cornbread was rubbery as though placed in microwave. Yeast roll, however was really good. This place was featured in local travel guide; we traveled from Texas and we do not recommend.
