This place was fantastic. New owners. Food and drinks were amazing. We had the boudin eggrolls and the Buffalo chicken pizza!! Drinks were mimosas and Moscow mules. All wonderful! Service was awesome. Callie was the sweetest.

I spoke with Cody and made reservations for my daughter's 18th birthday two weeks in advance. I asked questions about gratuity because the bulk of my guests were teenagers. I asked were things sold separately or in combos. I also requested a certain area for seating because I didn't particularly want to be outside. On Wednesday, I called to confirm my reservation and they had no information whatsoever. I was in a panic but Jonathan explained the original reservation was perhaps in a different book because they were making updates and rebooked me at that time.On Thursday I came to view the area we would be seated and though I preferred table and chairs, it was not a deal breaker.Saturday I knew was fireworks so I told my guests to come around 530 so we could be seated by 6.I was excited to discover we had the big top when we arrived. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Just as I expected lots of traffic so my guests arrived sporadically because of the traffic.I asked one waitress could we order an appetizer while awaiting our guests and she said I will get your waitress. We waited and waited, no one came. Finally I stopped a guy, I assume he was a manager who apologized and got someone to assist.She took our drink and appetizer order. While the drinks came immediately, it was at least 26 minutes before we got our appetizers.Our guests had arrived before the appetizers were out.Our waitress seemed overwhelmed but she remained friendly.I asked about replacing the side on my meal, she didn't suggest there was an up charge and it didn't occur to ask that question because I felt it had been asked and answered when I made the initial reservation.My personal expectation was to spend at least $100.What I didn't expect was to be required to pay a 4% fee for using my credit card as well as be required to pay a $16 tip.This was not disclosed to me. Though my waitress did her best, I don't particularly agree that I should have to give her $16.I don't work at Miro's she does. She should have educated us on there being a surcharge for replacing items as well as the use of our debit/credit cards. I don't particularly fault her for this but Cody as the manager was asked all these things and he said nothing of it.As previously mentioned, I brought teenagers. This young girl had wings, fries and a drink. Total with gratuity was $24. They swiped her card for $325. (A teenager)One of my guest was given food she didn't order and the mistake was an attempted charge to another guest.We received very poor service and the food was ok.I will not come here again and don't recommend it.

A new owner has recently taken over. Great guy with big dreams to restore the location into something great again. The place definitely has a great potential and alot for him to work with.The food was great. What ever seasoning they use for the fries is phenomenal. Seriously. Let me get them loaded with cheese and bacon ? (can we get these on the menu though, forreal? ?)Drinks were stout and our bartender was amazing. We hung out at the bar, watched the game and ate our dinner.The bar opens up to a patio seating area that over looks the river.There's still fine tuning things to work out but it looks like it's going to be a great place. I'm excited to see it grow.10/10 highly recommend

Dinner on a Saturday night expected it to be busier. Service was excellent restaurant is uniquely old Monroe, music is a bit loud but understandable being that they play music for thr bar and outdoor deck.Cheese sticks are the best I've had in the area, and the ranch dipping sauce is very good.Chicken wings buffalo flavor is spot on, but garlic parm was a bit off. Wings themselves are on the smaller side, and blue cheese dressing was thick bit a little more mayo tang rather than the savory blue cheese flavor.Pork tacos were good but missing something, hard to put a finer on.Tea is fresh brewed, which is certainly a plus.Very good experience and will be going back.

Food was good and drinks were mediocre, and our waitress was THE best! But no one has done a deep cleaning or maintenance around here in quite a while. There is a layer of dirt along floorboards, and the women's bathroom needs repainting and scrubbing. Furniture and decor need cleaning, repairs, or replacement. The outdoor seating and tables have pollen and mold everywhere. It was a little sad seeing the place in this condition.

All I will say is that a big rodent ran out into the dining area during our meal. I don't know if they have issues with them or not, but we only got an apology from the waitress. No manager or anything. As soon as we walked out of the dining area, the waitress asked how would we liked the checks split. Uhhhh... we just ran from a ? ma'am. No compensation, just an apology. I hope they get it under control. It really has the potential to be a great restaurant. I can't rate the food because I left everything I had there.
