Nice spot on Frenchmen st. for the night life. The later show was way better than the earlier one. One of a few places on Frenchmen to hear good live music.

This was a pretty good group. We just had a few drinks and listened to the band.
Good bar for live jazz, drinks were decent and the band was great. Would stop in here again!

Cool hip jazz rock club. If you're in New Orleans, check out some love bands and this place is a great one to visit.

Small jazz club. I was here on a Tuesday night and there was a constant flow in and out of people. There was a 7 piece band playing lots of funky jazz numbers. Limited spots to sit but as people come and go, you can get a table. Small outdoor patio. Slightly away from the bussle of Bourbon St. Crowd was 30 to 60 years old so mostly people looking for good music and drinks. If you want the 20's party time, head to bourbon st. If you want a laid back atmosphere, head here. There are a few other similar clubs in the area with similar atmosphere.
Love just coming into this place, getting a drink and listening to great music. Not as small as some venues in NOLA, but not so large as to be just a massive party house. Good times.

I didn't have "denied entry to a bar for removing a man's hand from my unconsenting friend's cleavage" on my 2024 bingo card, but here we are.In all seriousness, I don't write negative reviews. Mainly because one bad customer service experience rarely reflects the integrity of an institution. That said, women's safety (especially during Mardi Gras season) is another matter. If you're not training your bouncers to be vigilant when it comes to how men touch women they don't know, that's a problem on a larger scale. In this case, a man reached into my friend's shirt as we were getting our IDs checked. (He had seen something poking out of her bra and saw it appropriate to - without warning or asking for permission - *diligently* work it back in.) I reacted instinctively and quickly and quietly removed his hand, stood between them, and silently waited for the bouncer to tell the man to move along. Instead, he told us that we needed to leave.I find it difficult to imagine that he would have kicked us out if I were a man saying, "Hey, don't put your hand down my girlfriend's shirt." None of us could piece together why we were asked to leave at all, except it looked like the bouncer knew the man personally. If I ever see a strange man's hand on my friend's chest without her permission, I'll remove it. And if it does happen again, I hope it happens in front of security with better judgment.
Always great music!!!
