Visited here back in early December while visiting from Rhode Island. Alot of firsts: first ever gumbo experience- amazing. First ever muffeletta - amazing. While in Louisiana we tried gumbo an additional 3 times, and Royal&St.Ann was besttttttt. Can't wait to be back in Louisiana.

The Fried Shrimp Po Boy! Too often they are heavy and greasy. We couldn’t get our minds around how they were able to make a fried dish so light a refreshing. The bread is a French style baguette that is crunchy, soft, and chewy all at the same time. The shrimp was light and tasty. The sweet pickle was a perfect addition.

Our first meal in Ne workman's was a fab lunch at this fashionable but laid back place. Shrimp rémoulade with green tomato po boy for me and shrimp basket for the husband. So delicious and fresco with very attentive and thoughtful service. Wished I lived closer so I could have that sandwich more often!!!
