Cool little town, we stopped in for lunch. I'm not a seafood fan, but they have chicken strips, and it was great. Attentive staff, nice location. Perfect place to go when the majority of our group loves seafood and I'm the odd one who doesn't, it was easy to find something I liked.

We came to New Orleans to eat crawfish and this was great! The baskets were full and the service was awesome. The seasoning was unique and so delicious, maybe a little too oily at the bottom of the tray but not a reason to avoid it, just unexpected. Cocktails were delicious.

More of a restaurant than a seafood restaurant but still had the right feel. Crawfish had good flavor.Parking: Metered street parking. Could be difficult depending on time of day.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is better than others.

Eve, my waitress was AWESOME! I'm visiting LA for the first time and I wanted to try a crawfish. She brought me a crawfish...again, I never had one before. It was definitely an experience. It was tasty for sure. However, it was good. I had the snow and dungeons crab boil and it was delicious. I'll definitely come back to visit this place

Boil Seafood House (Mid City District?) was Everything I wanted in the moment. Reservations were easy to make, and we found parking on the street of a nice gentrification, Berkeley 'esque' neighborhood with nice walkability after the scrumptious meal. Atmosphere inside was casual, lively yet quaint. I believe there was music being played or maybe it was the group of 8+ ladies laughing and singing, which made me think there was music. That was until their food arrived, and then it was radio silence at their table ?. My SIL (sister in law) and I had a cup of gumbo, which was delishisly seasoned, we shared Taste of New Orleans, so she could try the Blue Crab.?hMmmmGee the portion allowed for leftovers, although we left several shrimp and crawfish behind, and the meal itself was a great culinary experience between pinching, cracking, shelling, sucking, finger licking, eye rolling and all the more. The corn, did I mention how they perfected the texture of the corn steeped in butter and spices. Staff came by and showed us how to properly crack open the blue Crab, scale away the gills and we consumed the sweet, soft, flavorful Crab with delight!!!Planning my next trip for early fall and perusing the menu enroute!Wait. Did I say how amazingly warm, casual and welcoming the staff are? Thanks for the total experience!Parking: We arrived for 6:15 p.m. metered parking was free.

This place definitely has seafood. If you are looking for New Orleans style boiled crawfish, this is NOT the place, and that's okay. The "cajun" style crawfish is Texas cajun style (covered in cajun seasoning and oil), but if you like that and don't mind messy hands and flinging oil, it's tasty. I prefer the traditional New Orleans style where the flavor comes from the water you boil it in.

Exquisite Cuisine

The actual quality and freshness of the seafood was ok it was the disgusting oily sauce that the seafood was drowned in that I didn't care for at all.

The food was exceptional. We found the chargrilled oysters to be the best in New Orleans. The gumbo, generously served in a bowl-sized cup, was flawlessly seasoned. During our stay in New Orleans, we dined there twice, indulging in shrimp and mussels drenched in garlic butter and Cajun sauce—a truly remarkable experience! Balcony seating was an available option, and finding street parking was surprisingly easy.
