Gabriele Bonci. He's from Rome. Has a popular pizza place there. Set his sights on the US market, and curiously, the place he chose to debut his concept was Chicago, arguably a population that has very strong opinions about their pizza. He opened one, then another. Added New Orleans. Next up, I think I heard is Miami. His concept is a "reinvention" of the pizza. Finally had the chance to check out Bonci and I'm a fan! I was just a little bit hungry and liked that you can order as little or much of the pizza that you want since it's sold by the lb! They have well over a dozen options (including a dessert one) and I had trouble picking which one I wanted. I ended up going with the Salmon one and it was delicious! It ended up being about 3 bucks which was a price point I was okay with. Do other places give you wayyyy more for the same price?...read full review

Going back Weds (Pelican game BIG GUY is back. P.S. worth a wager). Fun place. Kind of place everyone needs to go at least once. Food is authentic. So much to pick from. Try something new. (the potato was my fav).Sounds weird. I know! The other reviews tell the story. ENJOY!
