One of the most famous restaurants in New Orleans (FQ) and everyone try to get food here. My second time trying this restaurant and it’s worth it, this time I go for what my server “RIKKAL” recommended me. The grilled oysters were super tasty and Jambalaya pasta was hit me! Now I’m not surprised why this place very famous and the service was excellent especially for my server “RIKKAL” thumbs up!!

We ordered delivery. What we got was good, but we didn't get all of our food. Called the restaurant and they didn't answer. Left a message and they didn't call back. Also sent an email. Didn't get an answer to that either. Considering we spent approximately $135 with delivery charges, it was ridiculous to not be able to get the rest and apparently they didn't care to get back to us about it.

After 20 minutes of waiting for a waitress we left. The hostess was so arrogant and rude as well. The dishes on the other tables looked like a tourist trap with a good location

Monterey bacon and chives char grilled oysters were over the top!!!! Make sure you order those! I think this is the only place in New Orleans that makes them! The crawfish étouffée and gumbo were great as well!!

Been here couple times when I’ve visited New Orleans. Always great food. Definitely recommend the alligator po boy and if you want a delicious dessert, you have to order the bread pudding and praline pie. They are seriously delicious. I’ve had other things here and everything has always been good. The servers are always super friendly and helpful. This place does get busy but you get seated quickly and receive your meals pretty quick too.

The shrimp and the alligator Poboys were great. They lost a star because they were out of a wine on their wine list.

The server and staff were great. I know it's a tourist area but the price you pay for what you get is ridiculous. It was my first night in the city and left me feeling weary about what the other restaurants would be.

Food was not good for being in NOLA. I sat at the bar, the service was bad, staff were dancing while people were waiting to be acknowledge. A couple next to me ordered drinks and the waiter said "man that drink is nasty"- rude!. I will not recommend this restaurant - bad customer service.

Familiarity, camaraderie and pleasant atmosphere generated by staff made the dining experience fun. Lady at door informed us there would be a 45 minute wait. We inquired about ordering to go and were pointed to the bar (literally, no words). Once at the bar, we realized we could order and eat barside, which we did. Bar tender was a pleasant, engaging fellow with Squirrel focus (kindred spirit), which was humorous. Mostly satisfied with portion and prices. My SIL (sister in law) ordered Corn and Crab Bisque, which she really enjoyed. I ordered Chicken and Andouille Gumbo, which I liked the heat (spice), but the melody of marinated spice was lacking. A little commercial for my expectation, but I would order again, though, as the roux was thick and comforting. We shared fried alligator, which had a soft enough texture allowing flavor to come through and was not greasy. I had a Hurricane which was not the best, but the bartender sort of forewarned me he was not an expert in the mixing one of the city's signature drinks.

We were there 2 days in a row. Food was amazing both times. Service was great first time but could have been better the 2nd time.
