Nothing is better than a slice of two of dante's after walking through bourbon street

Horrible pizza, filthy restroom no soap, no hand towels no lights, staff wearing no mask or gloves and cash only........

The gentleman working was very nice and helpful. The pizza was a little better than average. The pepperoni seemed like they were placed on the pizza after it was already cooked. Despite not being busy, they were out of French fries and also the soda was nearly room temperature. The bathroom door lock was busted so that was uncomfortable. Some simple changes would go a long way here.

This is a good place to have a quick bite. Pizzas are decent and jalapeño poppers were good as well.

My son loves pizza and after spending some time down at the aquarium, we were walking back our hotel when my son spotted this place. So, we popped in. My daughter and son both love pepperoni and cheese pizza, so we got a couple of slices for them and a drink. Came out to around $11, which wasn't too bad. We're from Long Island, were there are tons and tons of top notch pizza spots, so I certainly wasn't expecting super high quality. However, to my surprise, the pizza was very good. Not ready to put it on par with NY pizza, but for it's purpose, it hit the spot for my family and I. Other people question the decor of this place, but I absolutely love old places that have a history or a story to tell, and while I don't fully know this places story it's obvious there's some history in there somewhere. Guy behind the counter was friendly and there's not much more to say here other than I recommend it.

We were starving! It was raining! If that wasn't bad enough I find out (after ordering 2 large pizzas for my family) that the place only takes cash?! In 2019! Whenever I see that I assume the worst and that the owner is obviously skimming off the top before declaring his profits. So... the guy says to go to the ATM in his store. I go over to it but it's out of order. There's a sign taped to the front of it and he didn't even know it. He then tells me to go next door and use their ATM. I do and the damn thing charges me $3.99 to take $60 out of my checking account. I then go back and, assuming $60 would cover 2 pizzas and 4 12 oz. cans of Coke, I hand the guy the cash. He points to the register which is showing $61.59! You've got to be friggin' kidding me. The guy says to me, "you have no more cash"? and I reply "no". With that he says "don't worry about it and we sit down to a pizza that was made from a pre-formed crust and very little flavor. We ate... And tried to not choke from the loud speaker over my head blasting rap music. Uggh!

On our last trip to NOLA, we found ourselves wandering the French Quarter at dinner time. Honestly, pizza was the last thing I wanted with all the good food available there. We saw the sign and some of us got excited. Not me tho. Then the aroma hit us along with the sight of the beautiful fresh pizza pies that had just been placed in the case facing the door. At first I thought the price was a bit steep and I was put off by the cash only idea, but we stayed and thoroughly enjoyed our pizza. The portions are good. No regrets. I see pizza in our future on the next trip.

Loved the pizza better then that on the Main Street. I had pepporroni and it tasted great. Staff was also friendly. Would recommend.

We spent the whole evening loving the jazz at Fritzels & were starving. We walked down Bourbon & back along St Peter searching for food - any food. Pizza! There's a pizza place open! We seriously did not care how much it cost or if it was in anyone's recommended list. In we went. We had to pool our meager cash (we did think it was a bit expensive but didn't care) & got 2 huge slices of scrumptious pizza, which we devoured as we walked back to our hotel. Well actually I couldn't finish mine so asked a homeless guy if he wanted it (& he did!). A couple of nights later, armed with more cash, we dragged our friends back for more!

I’m from out of town. Worst pizza I’ve had in a decade. Avoid. Zero stars

amazingly, not only does this place only accept cash, their atm doesn't work. as aligned with the rest of NOLA, no one that works there knows what's going on

Stopped here while visiting New Orleans. We were talking about pizza and got stopped on the street by Taylor. She directed us to Dante's Pizza. The pizza was good and hot. The wings....OMG those wings. They were fresh and hot. We will be back. Thanks Taylor!!

I ate here a couple of weeks ago after looking around NOLA for an easy pizza alternative. I enjoyed the pizza very much. I happened to time it while the selection appeared full and fresh. I was not disappointed. I will definitely return if I am in the area!
