Visiting the quarter and wanted some Chinese, so this was one of the first spots we kept seeing show up online. The best two items were: The crab/crawfish dumplings, fantastic. And, the sautéed green beans. They are crisp and hot, but still tender inside. A bit too much sauce for me, though.Runner ups: The steamed pork buns. Stuffed with a good amount of meat inside, they were super fresh and soft. The basil popcorn chicken. So crispety and crunchy, and served piping hot. Egg rolls were different than traditional ones. Not as much of a cronch on them, but still good. The char siu pork was sadly probably my least favorite item. It needs more char, and less of whatever sauce they're using, they need more of that traditional red sauce (see photos).Service is super friendly, fast, and attentive.
The food was awesome! Vegan and regular dishes were both fantastic. They don't bring out everything at once just as it's ready. Definitely the best soup dumplings I've ever had!

Far and away the best Chinese in Nola. I normally always get their XLB but I was super hot and wanted lighter fare this time. Shrimp Har Gow were perfectly made and cooked. Cucumber salad was refreshing. And egg roll almost wasn't greasy enough! ? Service is always welcoming and friendly.
This place was really good, I would definitely recommend coming here again. The customer service was great, food was wonderful. The only thing I didn’t expect was the place being small, but with it being in the place it’s in I kinda figured it would be small, but the overall experience was great!!.

I came here only to try out the crawfish and crab bao. Don’t waste your time. While the dumplings here are very good, you should not expect any crab or crawfish flavors. The crawfish and crab bao tastes almost identical to the XLB. I had to ask the server if the dumplings were indeed the crawfish and crab because it was so similar. The crawfish and crab are allegedly mixed with a pork. Stick with the XLB.

This part of downtown the streets get kind of confusing hey Google maps of no help I called them to try to figure out where they were in comparison to where I was and after about 30 seconds of talking they hung up on me pure. Trust me I will not be giving him any of my business

Always have a great anime playing while you dine.Service was on-point and friendly, food was perfectly seasoned and spiced. The portions were solid as always. I went there on a date. We ordered some soup, buns, and the honey chicken, plenty of food and then some for leftovers.

I had Din tai fung in SF and I’ve been craving that meal ever since. I was so excited to try this place considering it has a similar menu but I’m really disappointed. The cucumber salad was mushy. The spicy noodle bowl is good but VERY spicy. The dumplings were awful. At first glance they are way smaller than DTF. They were chewy, the meat in them was horrible, and the after taste from the sauce was sour. I’m really not sure what kind of meat is in the dumpling. It was like someone chewed it up and stuffed it in a microwaveable dumpling. A $40 meal that I had a few bites of. Really disappointed.
