Most authentic Chinese food I have found here in New Orleans. Granted, we only ordered three dishes verses the 7 or so...but was a bit wary trying a hole in the wall that I had seen for years in this strip mall. I called and ordered and by the time I drove from Costco to the spot, food was ready and packed. So it was quick. Ordered: Bbq boneless spare ribs Mei fun - Singapore Noodles general tso chicken Boneless spare ribs were lean, tender and tasty!! Real rich flavor of Chinese Bbq! Threw some on the white rice that accompanied the General Tao's chicken and was perfect!! This Tso's chicken came with Broccoli automatically and I didn't have to request it to be added to the order. It flavor wa a standard General Tso - pleasantly surprising that it was just plain good. Breading and sauce was up to par!! The Mei Fun was the best...not too much curry flavor - had onions and different meats. Comparable to the many Mei Fun we have had in NY city. I can see this spot possibly being hit or miss...possibly issue with delivery through Uber etc. The owner (I think) was courteous and very appreciative of the tip. I bowed back to him as he graciously thanked me. I didn't get a chance to see who was cooking in the kitchen As I always try to pay attention. We will be back and plan to try the Szechuan beef and not sure what else. True "hole in the wall" gem in the uptown hood. Hope the next visit is as excellent as the first.

Food was horrible. Lunch menu was 8.95 but everything was xtra, egg roll, white meat etc. no sauce for egg rolls. The brown gravy for mandarin chicken was black and tastes bitter. Chicken was very very thin and was not crispy. Won’t go there again. 3 lunch plates for $8.95 ended up costing over $47 and that was no drinks, or tip. $3.00 eggroll (1) was good. Chicken tasted like cardboard.

This is how many chopped onions they give you if you order Mongolian beef. There were like less than 4 strips of meat per dish. The fried rice also seems frozen, it has no taste and the Mongolian beef had an awful rotten taste. I will never order from this place again. My dad ordered the Kung po shrimp and he said that wasn't too bad but that it had no flavor. We also ordered the wonton soup which was a clear broth with awful tasting dumplings. This place is horrible and shouldn't even be in business.

Fried rice is bland. Might as well just eat white rice. Crab rangoons are so sweet they almost taste like a dessert. I've never had egg drop soup that tasted exactly like scrambled eggs until this day. The kung po and sweet and sour chicken are only half decent because of the

Its one of those cheap hole in the wall chinese restaurants with mediocre food. Its really hit or miss. I went with friends and some of the food was just not good. We got several combos and some appetizers. The spicy chicken was terrible. The Generals Tso's chicken was also not great. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, if you like the over battered chicken bits that resemble golden brown terds with a bowl of bright red overly sweet sauce. The crab rangoon was stale, as if they cooked it hours before and microwaved it before it was served. We also got egg foo yung, which wasnt too bad. The best thing that we ordered was plain white rice, only because its hard to mess that up. The staff was nice and accomodating, but I cant recommend this place due to the quality of the food. This place offers ok value, but there are way too many good places to try in the area.

Best wonton soup i've had in a minute!!! General Tso chickens sauce was good but you can tell it's not quality chicken when you bight into it. Tyson chicken vibes. Vegetable rice is so bland I honestly ate it with my chicken so it would taste better. Spring rolls were recent. Will return for the soup but probably nothing else I ordered. I've heard good things but maybe i need to try something else. Ordered takeout.

I am so confused by the 5 star reviews. Read my very honest review below. I ordered through DoorDash. Food came piping hot, on time, and I was excited to eat. I ordered the following to share with my children and family: mandarin chicken, egg rolls, beef with broccoli, egg drop soup, steamed rice, crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice. did not receive white rice as requested but they gave me chicken fried rice and it tasted like soap. The rice was dry and the dish had no flavor (other than soap). the egg drop soup had a good amount of egg but again flavorless the mandarin chicken did not have a good flavor. I could tell it was mostly dark meat flattened and fried. The sauce that came with it was not pleasant. beef with broccoli was questionable flavor. Perhaps by this time of trying the food my palate was already turned off by everything. Broccoli was ok and still had some crunch which is appreciated but the sauce and dish collectively did not have a good flavor. I know great Chinese food. egg rolls also horribly tasting. It tasted like it was previously over frozen and then fried. the only decent and edible part of my order was the crab rangoon. It wasn't that great but at least edible. The almost $60 worth of food went right to the garbage. I would not serve it to my children or husband or even the community fridge. No human should be served this subpar food. Americanized Chinese Mall food tastes better than this. The food being served at this establishment is NOT CHINESE FOOD. Please review your ingredients and business practices. Something is very off about the flavors and this food should not be allowed for sale. Please do better.

My first time ordering here. I get the moo goo Gai pan whenever I'm unsure of a place. Much to my delight it was delicious! Lightly seasoned with chicken, water chestnuts, snow peas, bamboo shoots, carrot, mushrooms and bok choy. Just as it should be. And the gentleman that took my order was so professional and kind. I will definitely order again!
