Food is fast and pretty decent. Prices can't be beat. Available for take out and delivery.
Green tea is comfort food. Food is great, wonderful owners and the fastest delivery in town. We have been enjoying Green Tea since they 1st opened on Louisiana Ave
Shrimp fried tasted weird, the Tso chicken was good.
Had two hairs in my orange chicken. 3/4 through I found it... truly devastating with this covid stuff going around. The food was decent but having a hair pop up wasn’t cool. I suggest hairnets maybe? Or just some type of compensation for my mental state.
Oh the elusive crispy egg roll You will never find a crispy egg roll at this establishment .Every time I order a shrimp egg roll it is the most soggy wet thing I can't even pull it out of the package. Sad excusefor chinese food.
My favorite Chinese place in nola. Great portion sizes deals and options
The food here is great. The delivery/pick up is super fast. My roommate and I are obsessed with hot and sour soup, and GT has the best in the city. I also enjoy their crab ran-goons.
It's great quality food, affordable and I love that they deliver too.
Very good Chinese American cuisine @ low prices w friendl ury & fast service
Green tea advertised that they would be open for Mardi Gras. After three hours of run around, terrible customer service, and our order STILL not being worked on, we decided to cancel our order. Won’t be returning. The staff that works the front register are SO unprofessional.
OH MY GOD! This was the worse chinese food ever! I wasn't pleased with the burnt shrimp toast and the oily hot and sour soup had no taste. The owner Yan did not have good customer service and she made excuses for the poor food quality. This food was by far the worst Chinese food EVER! YAN the owner was rude and would not grant my request for a refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be blessed.
I love you green tea, you're here for me when I'm sad you're here for me when I'm happy, most of all you're here for me when I'm hungry. Best of all you have a parking lot, and super easy access to uptown, mid city and also central city. Idk what I would have down without you when I didn't have anything for dinner planned and have had a long day from work. Green tea is a Chinese take out place which is located right on the corner of Napoleon and Claiborne. Inside decorated with Asian paintings, they also have seating available if you want to dine in as well. I usually just call ahead and grab and go. They tell you 15mins but honesty my food has always been ready when I've arrived a little early. So, service is good. They greet you when you enter and if you don't have a clue on what to order they have menus available and they'll give you time to look. I got the fried rice one time thar flavor was nothing to rave about, I usually get their chicken wings. Those things are my guilty pleasure. They come with a choice for French fries or rice or Noods. This time I got the French fries and boy it was a good choice. Now I know what you're thinking, ordering fries and wings at a Chinese spot?! Yeah ok, judge me, ONLY after you try their wings though. I keep coming back for more this is my go to spot.
The best thing about this place is the building. The young lady at the register taking orders was unfriendly as heck, she had a very dry personality and acted liked she didn't want to be there. We ordered an appetizer and meal, and by the time I washed my hands and found a seat our food was out very shortly after, but we were told our shrimp toast would be out soon. We ordered an appetizer or at least that's the category was under. The fred rice was good and hot, but the General Tso was cold and the meat appeared to be leftovers that they decided to use. I told the unfriendly cashier and she told someone. Luckily our toast came out hot and crispy, but the filling was too loose and salty with no dipping sauce. Once the food came it was fresh and tasted like mall Chinese food. Unfortunately I won't be patronizing this business again and was upset that I didn't go to China Orchard a few blocks up. Dining here reminds me of why I've started eating Vietnamese food.
Nice and clean restaurant....of course i didn't go to the BOH, food was very good and very decent prices
Very good food for a cheap price..
