Just a friendly neighborhood bar. Tennessee Williams happy hour bar

Food was just so-so. Red beans and rice was off. The view on Bourbon street is what gave it a 3 star. You can pass on everything else. No drink specials and seevice was poor. Not a first choice destination.

As my first in New Orleans the day before Mardi Gras me and my girlfriends were hungry so we walked by saw the menu for this. There was no wait to sit and were able to sit on the balcony. The server Dave was great but the food was terrible. We ordered burgers and waited over an hour. Dave apologized for the long wait and was trying his best to satisfy us. The bun on the burgers were burnt, the actual burgers were severely over cooked and burnt. The fries was overcooked and dry. There was only one cook for the entire night and instead of not letting anymore customers in because it would be a bad experience and the food would take long they continued to receive customers. If I could give this restaurant no stars i would but if I can give the server Dave 5 stars I would. I do not recommend this place to anyone that wants a good burger.

We came in tonight and had a great time. It truly is a "hole in the wall" with a whole lot of personality. I've never seen so many people denied entry to a place before. Bring ID, be prepared to show it (regardless of age), and don't expect a nice (or public) bathroom. I did not go in the bathroom however my husband came out talking about a little mouse in the bathroom. A while later a woman commented on how terrible it was.

Keith was great. He was friendly and informative about the area as the wife and I are from im Chicago. Beer wasn't over priced and was fresh and cold. No cover like most places in the area.

I dont remember a whole lot from my night on Bourbon Street. But one thing thats still on my mind is this places chicken jambalaya. It was soooo good. The sauce does clean out your sinuses. I seriously cant wait to come back next month!

This was our first stop on bourbon street. They had a good variety at reasonable prices, especially for new orleans. Our party had the Chicken Jambalaya and the Shrimp Creole. Be prepared to have your nasal passages cleaned our. Lol both had a flavorful heat and kick that made my men extremely happy. Serving was fast, friendly without making us feel rushed to turn over a table.

Something about an old hole in the wall bar that I just love. Cozy feel to the place and it had three big TVs over the bar, which was exactly what we were looking for. Friendly bartender too!

Great food terrible service, the waitress wwe had was horrible I made sure to tip her above 20% and I put a smiley face on there. She never made conversations or made recommendations she never smiled she spilled water and forgot items. She ask us "what do you want" if I wasn't parched I would have walked out. She was just so awful I want to ask her if I did something to her in a past life. Not very friendly or welcoming with the exception of of the caucasion waitress with the very short hair cut she Waac constantly smiling and attentive.

Located right on Bourbon Street. Head upstairs and sit out on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street. Great opportunity to people watch while eating.

The food was really awful. My shrimp PoorBoy was soggy and inedible. My buddy's Jambalaya was so bad he could not eat it either. He even tried hot sauce to spice it up as it was so bland. To make things worse, our black waitress, (race noted only to be specific since the other waitress at the neighboring table was white and appeared friendly and attentive), was absolutely the most unfriendly and rudest waitress we ever experienced. She never offered refills on our drinks, nor asked if our food was good... it wasn't... and when our food arrived, she dropped the plates with a clunk in front of us as if she was annoyed. My friend and I were sitting and talking and she came over and asked if we wanted to-go boxes and we had been there 30 minutes! On our way out I mentioned how bad our waitress was to the guy standing outside the front door trying to get customers into the place. He actually agreed with me and said she only had a personality when she had "two to three drinks in her."

I came up here to sit on the balcony overlooking bourbon street around 7 pm. Not a huge crowd and no wait. Plenty of open seats. I stood to wait for a table so the two hostesses could finish their gossip session and then had the worst service in the world.

Good drinks. Happened in on a night they weren't busy. Nice bartender. Good mixed drinks. Definite hole in the wall with a good vibe.
