So great! I'm glad that my friend and I ventured out and tried something new for us yesterday. Little fig is located at the very left of Pythian market when you enter from Loyola street side. They have to-go options in their open fridge and they sell couple of their goodies on the other side. While all the other vendors somewhat share the dining area, Little fig has about 4 tables dedicated for their customers. I found this very useful as my friend and I wanted to chat and full review
I ordered a takeout falafel platter which I ate 10 minutes later and was extremely disappointed. The falafel was burnt on the outside and way undercooked on the inside. The humus had a terrible consistency, no chickpea taste and was way too heavy. It basically tasted like tahini. Stopped by on a Sunday. I got the falafel plate, I think everything was vegan, but I could be wrong. The falafels were delicious and flavorful. I loved that they had the sourdough bread. I made my own falafel sandwich by spreading the hummus on the bread and crushing a couple of falafels on top. The little kale salad was surprisingly better than I expected. Would definitely come back.
