Legit. Definitely an industry spot. You can tell by the caliber of cocktails. The patio is gorgeous and on top of it all, best burger I’ve ever had. Would be a regular if I lived here.

While visiting New Orleans for the first time my brother and I met a family member we'd never met before. Lucky for us, James just happens to be one of the two chefs at Longway Tavern. He invited us to check out his culinary art "gallery" after meeting his mom (our 2nd cousin) and him for breakfast in the French Quarter. The space that the Longway Tavern inhabits has that great combination of contemporary vibe and deep historic roots which is so unique to New Orleans. The staff are eager to please - fine examples of traditional Southern Hospitality mixed with the "look at what we can do" enthusiasm of youth. The food and drinks we consumed were fantastic! I'll admit to a bit of bias since we were treated to a few complimentary add-ons to our order (deep fried oysters! and a hearty slice Whiskey soaked chocolate cake) courtesy of Chef James and his co-creator. My pickled beet salad was tangy and crisp which complimented the side of Sweet Potato bisque very well. My brother's pub-style burger was no slacker either. The portions were generous but not gross yet I had to take half the chocolate cake to-go for later. Life is good at the Longway Tavern. Great food and drink, superb service and a groovy vibe make for a dining experience I wish I had in my town. Enjoy...

The food and atmosphere were fine, however many if not all the staff were wearing tee shirts with a message on them. Of course they have every right to do so, and I have every right to not return if I am just loooking for a nice meal and don't feel like haveing a business I am paying shove thier personal beliefs in my face. I am giving them 5 bubbles because it is a good restaurant and I don't think it is fair to try to harm someone or a busness for expressing thier beliefs if they wish. However, I don't understand why businesses think they have to push an issue onto their paying guest. Most of us just want a good meal. We didn't go out to be shamed.

It’s a mixed bag. We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived. Waitress didn’t refill the water once we emptied the bottle, never asked if we wanted more drinks. Only stopped by once in between taking our order and giving us the check. We ordered the flautas, but unfortunately the flavor was underwhelming. Their chips and salsa were tasty, and so were the happy hour specials.

a hidden gem in the Quarter. If you're local and haven't tried it yet, definitely come visit. It has a tucked away courtyard in the back and great service! The drink menu has some good selects, and they also have a full bar. For Halloween, they had some cool special themed options for the evening. Their food menu was pretty small for my taste and my palette didn't really like the flavors put together on some of the appetizers that we had. When I come again, I definitely will be visiting on a day that Tacos Para La Vida pops up - Sunday through Tuesday I believe. The "doughnut holes" were kind of spicy and a puff pastry basically. Not a table favorite. The fish tacos were made with smoked catfish and served like a flauta and not a taco that I was expecting. Also was missing the sour cream. TLDR: great atmosphere for a drinking spot.

Interesting fare, posh atmosphere... dill salt fries are delicious. Tacos were more like a taquito thing (also delicious)donut holes were a different but savory sweet kinda thing, kinda chill but sophisticated club vibe. Ranch water was a delicious cocktail. Overall I’d give it an 8/10.

Great cocktails, reasonably priced for the quarter. Food quality is high, with flexibility for allergens. Friendly to all non-bummer freaks. The go-to flask cocktail is a bargain!!!

Just swung by for some to-go drinks and a snack, and they were awesome. Happy hour from 4-6 every day! The "Ranch Water" is a great simple drink. Come by and check them out, they're doing a great job with all health requirements and protocols!. Edit: we ordered the savory donut holes, and they're just incredible! Get them.

Longest Tavern is a wonderful, hip, modern restaurant located in the heart of the FQ. They have great indoor and outdoor seating. You can order at the front or order and pay entirely on your phone. I got their spaghett cocktail and it was delicious. I went with one friend and we ordered the doughnut holes, Caesar salad, and steak sandwich. The doughnut holes were extremely unique and savory. Definitely worth a try. The Caesar salad was very crisp and refreshing. The steak sandwich looked amazing & my friend said it was the best she ever had! Longway is definitely one of my new favorite happy hour spots.

Just found this place and its my new favorite spot! The savory donut holes absolutely blew my mind and their upside down ice cream cone for dessert was playful and perfect. Staff was attentive and kind. We dined outside and it began to drizzle, staff hurriedly adjusted the umbrellas for us without us asking and we had the perfect New Orleans evening. Their cocktails are also incredible!

We checked this place out after not eating all day, figured it looked good for dinner and the health score wasn't the worst in the area. I ended getting the burger and an aperol spritz, my wife got the chicken sandwich and the gin gimlet drink, and our friend the fish tacos with a shot of cognac and Long Island iced tea. The flavors were great, but our friend and my wife ended up sick to their stomachs that night from the fish tacos (it was the only thing they had in common to eat, and I don't eat fish) my wife only had one bout of nausea as she only had one taco, but our friend was up all night sick and was out of commission the next day, glad we didn't do it on a work night or he would have missed for sure.

Awesome place tucked away in Toulouse between royal and bourbon. Reservations were easily made via link in their IG bio. Staff was friendly and abiding by Orleans parish covid precautions. Patio was wonderful and airy. Service quick and helpful. Cocktails top notch. Food delicious. We had the double stack cheeseburger and the dill fries. Larger parties would probably need reservations to ensure a table. Street parking only in the quarter.
