Great food and service. Very disappointing was the shrimp cocktail. But all in all a good place to go for dinner

Great food! My wife and I recently visited New Orleans and rode the trolley cars around. When we got hungry we got off and walked here. It has a cool local feel and is much quieter than downtown NOLA. The shrimp remoulade was an awesome appetizer! We also enjoyed the Creole shrimp and the fried softshell crab. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. We had a great time! Definitely recommend!

The food was amazing. The portions are huge. There is usually a wait but they get you in in a reasonable time. The service was great as well and it has a mom and pop feel atmosphere.

Quintessential New Orleans on a residential strip of Canal Street. Casual, huge portions, family atmosphere. Big groups go to a plain dining room, but smaller parties sit in the big, interestingly decorated main salon. Can get loud after 7. Daquan (sic) was excellent.

$47.00++ for an oyster/shrimp poboy!!!!Are you kidding....stop hiding behind "market prices" and put the prices on the menu...absolutely not worth $47.00...and fix the air conditioning in the side room which has been broken for a over year...this restaurant has had its issues in the past, management and ownership is not paying attention. As a local, you have so much going for you, please do the right thing.Vegetarian options: Salads, pasta dishes....not much else.Parking: All free....for now!Lot behind building fills up fast.Park on streets easier.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food and service is excellent. I’ve tried the catfish, shrimp, fried chicken, red beans and rice, and onion rings. The French bread/garlic bread is so light and airy…delicious! I loved it all! I come here every time I’m in NOLA! Can’t wait to return.
Restaurant is so packed that we were placed in a hallway area - poor ambiance. Food was okay.Issue was this: restaurant put items on our bill that belonged to another table leaving us with overcharge of $30. Waitress said that it was due to a new system, she promised the general manager would fix it all the next morning and reverse the $30. Nothing was fixed and general manager never responded to follow-up requests over the next several days. It's not worth my time to keep fighting for the $30. But definitely a problem with this restaurant.

Fly in my margarita at the bar, the host gave us a dirty table with a beer on it. My waitress walked up and said "questions" we said no, she said "well what's your order?" And we never saw her again. No bread, no drinks nothing. So we got our food, hamburger steak, it was cold. Before o even picked up my fork, the bus boy asked if we need a to go box, then came 5 minutes later and asked again then came 5 minutes later and asked again. I think I would have had a better experience if I wasn't a person of color. I posted a YouTube video of my experience, feel free to check it out.
