My friend and I came for dinner on a Thursday night, and we had a great time. There was a very relaxed vibe with great ambience and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Garden Gimlet to start and loved the combination of citrus and poblano. For our entrees, I ordered the French Onion Grilled Cheese and my friend had the Crab Gnocchi special. The atmosphere of Meauxbar drew me in! I almost don't want to post a review because I want to keep this great place to myself. It's quaint, upscale and moody. My kind of vibe.My friend said her meal was the best fish she's ever had and ate her entire portion, which she hardly ever does. As a vegetarian, I didn't spot anything on the menu. Meauxbar is our go to place for dinner, their staff is so incredibly amazing (Jillian, Dwayne, Lindsey and Adam, just to name a few). The food is so creative and delicious, and we are treated like royalty every time we are there. You have to try the deviled eggs, beef tartar and chicken liver pate for appetizers, their Steak & Frites, French Onion Grilled Cheese, and daily Yaka-mein are out of this world, and any of their desserts are a must.
