The bartender didn’t know if they had a happy hour ?Expected more from a $14 glass of wine. They automatically add gratuity and will allow you to tip anyway w/o providing you an itemized receipt. The hotel that this bar is located in had a putrid smell, like bad sewage or something through the WHOLE hotel. Overall, it was a lackluster experience. The redeeming quality was the city views. Will not return. However if someone had a party here I would attend because the rooftop vibe is perf for that.

Was beautiful and upscale a few years ago, but the new place is filled with cheap decor and the service was very poor at the bar… she handed us drink menus, never returned and chose to wait on another couple that walked in several minutes later. Not busy, less than 10 people inside. A disappointing part of our evening.

We came here during our last trip to New Orleans. They have happy hour 4 - 6 pm when we came. Services was good and the view is spectacular. Just very pricey! We had intended on having an appetizer but after we had one drink and saw the prices, we left. The drinks were fairly small compared to most New Orleans places.Definitely a special occasion type of restaurant, it was just not for us on this trip. Not sure that I would go back.

I had read the other reviews and decided to give it a try. Empty cups left all over tables and used limes on napkins just sitting on the bar for extended periods. Bartender could have easily cleaned it up. They ran out of glasses for old fashioneds so they had to use plastic cups. They did give you very heavy pours, but the seating areas were not cleaned up and we saw a roach as well. Was not impressed with anything here. We didn’t finish our drinks and left.

We had an amazing experience from the drinks to the atmosphere and the staff!!! Wow, how attentive, caring, and considerate! We were celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond to make us feel special!

Stopped by during my visit to New Orleans during Essence and the 4th of July. This place has a nice ambiance and the drinks were good. We were able to watch the fireworks around the city. What a nice memory ?

Our hotel stay was fine. We got out of it what we needed. I'm only on here to review the rooftop bar, Ingenue. We visited the bar on 6/8/23 after we got in from the airport at around 9pm. I think the bartender was drunk, high, or both. He had to be reminded a couple times to cash us out and what drinks we wanted. The bar top was a mess and he looked messy as well. I'm pretty sure I saw him Google how to make an Old Fashioned (which is what my friend ordered). This is a cool spot to check out, but maybe have some F+B management on the schedule during evening shifts.
If you are looking to get your groove on it’s ok. But if you want to have a conversation with your friend or date this is not a good place, which is sad because of the views. Wrong vibe for that

The bartenders don't know the ingredients to their own drinks. Ordered what was supposed to be creme de Violette, gin, blackberries (the ingredients are listed on the menu) and the bartender, Ronald, literally poured a gin and tonic. When I told him what I ordered and showed the drink, he asked "what's wrong with it" when he knew what was wrong with it because the other bartender had already made me one earlier. He said they were out of blackberries (lies because the other bartender was making one AND Ronald threw a blackberry in my sister in law's glass of her banana martini). No apology or anything, I had to ask for a new drink. Then my friend shows up and we ended up leaving because she stood at the bar for 15 minutes and even though he made eye contact with her, he ignored her and walked away to help other people, never even acknowledged her. Also the music was so loud we couldn't even talk amongst each other. Terrible all the way around.

Awful When we showed up there was only one bartender and she was sweet but getting drinks was slow because she was alone. An hour or so later another bartender showed up and he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. My drink was supposed to have tequila and he put vodka instead then he acted like he was right and I was wrong when I brought it to his attention. He possibly just didn't hear me though because the music was so loud you can't hear yourself think. His name was Ronald. There was an auto gratuity of 18% but he definitely didn't deserve it. Why be good at your job though if you get tipped no matter what, right? Pitiful excuse for a bar.

Very cool roof top bar at the trubadour. Lots of space for a party. It was dead on a weekday.

Great atmosphere! Dj was playing good music. Drinks were amazing. I like this rooftop bar a lot more now than when it was Monkey Board.
