After a few days of waiting in line for every meal in the French Quarter, getting out at Ed's was like a mirage in the desert. No wait, service was so good, and the food was even better. There is something different about Louisiana hospitality and I love it.The vibe was chill and laid back. They had plenty of the Louisiana specialties that us tourists are looking for. Typical creole fare - gumbo, jambalaya, fried fish. I ordered red fish over rice..very big portion (gave half to my husband). Ordered side of veggies too - squash, zucchini etc. I'll be honest.,.the red beans and rice were addictive!
