The coffee is decent, hardly better than the chain coffee place down the street. Want soy? Dollar fifteen. Want the proper number of shots in your drink? Another couple of bucks. A decent medium latte will be almost nine dollars with tip and it comes in a paper cup, not a mug. For nine dollars, my expectations of a medium latte are high and this place most definitely doesn’t deliver.

Wish they had frozen options but coffee and tea are good. Open mic on Wednesday night has some good performers.

A lovely atmosphere with a lot of really good study spots and easy access to charging ports. The art was beautiful

My favorite little eclectic coffee shop. Funky art adorns the walls, various seating options for work, chatting or just relaxing. Knowledgeable staff creates the best coffee concoctions with chess-themed names. Bonus: chess, open mic and art classes are offered throughout the week.Vegetarian options: The grab and go pastries (veggie options) are baked and brought in from Gracious Bakery.

I love the offerings here Somehow no one else in town has figured out the ice cube trick- but coffee cubes in your iced coffee makes a world of difference (They do it with lemonade too) Definitely the most unique and interesting drink menu and the vibe is cool too- Note that if you're in a hurry, this isn't your place- if no one's around, no problem but even a few ppl in line on a saturday morning can be a half hour wait as there's usually only one person working

great spot but it feels like you need a letter of informed consent to order from this place. i tried to order a thai tea and add flavor to it (i know it doesn't need it, i just wanted to try it) and the person behind the counter seemed genuinely put off by the order and started off a sentence like they were going to talk me down from ordering it before they trailed off and started making the drink. when it was handed to me, it was chai with the flavor i had requested instead of thai tea like i'd asked for. i've been turning over in my head since this morning if it was just a mistake because hey, chai, thai, i get how a misunderstanding could occur. but something about the beginnings of talking me down from the order... it felt intentional. i wouldn't be leaving this review without that detail. the whole interaction made me feel stupid and embarrassed to the point where i couldn't do anything but take the drink and walk out.
The roof cafe will always a sweet spot in my heart. They truly make craft espresso drinks their own. My favorite is the bishop(Thai tea with espresso poured over). It's a cute spot to study or try out their endless collection of board games. They do special nights for chess clubs and board games night weekly.

Love it here. The staff is friendly, and I love to come and get a drink, and find a nook by myself to read. I love seeing people engaged in chess games at the tables around me, and all the art on the walls.

10/10 there is a cat here and it’s made my day 100x better. My husband keeps trying to explain this game to me and I can’t stop looking at this cat whom I love.

Just say yes to Rook. Get the Pawn and sit in the comfy chairs in the window nook. Watch New Orleans go by, you can thank me later.
