Do NOT go here. Go to Aunt Sally's Pralines across the street from Royal Praline instead. Aunt Sally's is the brand name of quality pralines anyway. The woman behind the counter is such a b**** that she wouldn't ring me up just because I was talking on the phone. It must suck to be her though because she looks like a middle aged hag with barely just a high school diploma and only makes less than $100K as a cashier. I had similar job when I was in still high school, so it's possible she doesn't even have her HS diploma.

Wonderful assortments of treats here! They have sugar free options (only 2 BUT still happy to see them for the diabetic people and others who are watching their sugar intake!) And the staff was amazing! Even threw in some free stickers. Also they have some cute little stuffed animals and books for the kids. And some cute punny stickers and shot glasses. Awesome place. You have to check them out!

Large selection of local treats and souvenirs. Friendly and helpful employees!

I went to the one on Decauter, worse customer service ever. The cashier Bob was one of the rudest people I’ve encountered. He left a box cutter out for anyone to grab. My son brought it to him just in case he didn’t realize he left it out. He snidely replied he did. He didn’t even acknowledge us then when we went to pay then proceeds to throw my change back at me. I’ve gone to the one on Royal Street and they have always been super nice. Bob was the worst!

This is a much smaller branch than the one on Royal Street. I don't really recommend this one, as the selection of pralines is much smaller than the Royal Street branch. There's honestly not too much here in this store and I'd much rather buy souvenirs from the Cafe du Monde granddad's store next door.

Chose royal praline company to buy my aunt Sally’s of all the spots availableTook my time browsing and found the multipack where I could try all the different flavoursService was awesome too. When I went to cash out, had a quick little conversation with the person at the cash and it was very pleasantPralines can be a hot or miss with me, but I really liked these ones. Like a piece of fudge with some yummy crunch of almond in the middleDefinitely set the bar high and don’t think if I ever see pralines anywhere else would I buy unless it’s aunt Sally’s in NOGreat job overall!

Brightly lit store with a more manageable volume of music than other places in the evening. I was able to find some King Cake to take home. Everything looks delicious.

Visiting NOLA and had to get some treats and stuff to take home. Cute coffee mugs, plenty of pralines and unique treats.

I looked all over for some authentic New Orleans pralines and I found them here! On a good note, they were delicious! The New Orleans Candy Company brand is very tasty! On a bad note, I had the worst experience with the 2 workers there. I came in clearly confused between the different flavors and brands, and at no time did anyone offer assistance. No one ever greeted me, no one ever spoke to me, no one even looked in my direction. They looked at me to acknowledge that I walked in the store, but they never spoke a word to me. I'm thinking this has to be the worst welcome I have ever had. If I didn't have a flight in 3 hours, I would have looked for a different Store to purchase my pralines. I don't know if it was because I was black, I don't know if it's because they don't acknowledge customers, but I literally felt so forgotten and disrespected. I even brought it to their attention. I told them, "you know you guys didn't even speak to me when I walked in. I'm not used to people being unfriendly in New Orleans", and they responded, "we usually talk to everyone, people say we're overfriendly" and I said "well not today". They never even apologized! If I had a choice, I would not come back to this store the 2 people working there were completely unprofessional and not welcoming in the slightest bit. The cashier's name was Rachel and I didn't catch the older man's name that was working with her that day on the 23rd of January. You will not receive the New Orleans hospitality in Royal Praline Company 2.
