Oh wow!!!! This place is a hidden gem. It's a small hole in the wall place that's inside of a bar called Micks Irish Pub. This weekends special is a Venezuelan pulled pork sandwich with a twist. The bread is large plantain chips. The pork is marinated in coke with spices. Add red onions, avocado and jalapeño cream sauce and viola! The specials change every weekend so come try this before it sells out. You'll thank me for it!!!!

Giant burgers! Killer dishes of the day. In house made onion rings. Huge house made cheese sticks. Brussel sprouts are spot on. Spicy fried chicken sammich is one of the best (be prepared it’s big and sloppy as it should be!!) packaged perfectly if you are getting it to go or eat out front and enjoy the neighborhood vibe of the Micks crowd. Super friendly.

This place has some first class comfort food. My most recent meal was on a cold day and I opted for a pimento cheese and greens sandwich and some thicc fried cheese sticks. The sandwich was crunchy on the outside and warm and gooey in the middle. Actually the same can be said for the cheese sticks. Both were delicious warmed my soul on a cold day. The only thing that could have made that better maybe a tomato soup added to the menu for dipping. Bonus points this place is nestled...read full review
