I got a sunset boulevard (non alcoholic Cocktail) it was so good! First cocktail I've had, and it came with a grapefruit wedge and was infused with thyme and tea.I got yam cashew grits with greens and vegan Mac n cheese flavored with 'cashew cheese'. It was mouth watering !

Best bar in the Bywater. Food is outstanding, service staff is a cut above the best, and the drinks are cosmic. Lindsay & Bin were our spirit guides for the night. Best bar service I've ever had.

I was so excited for my meal at Bar Brine. My group of 6 enjoyed our drinks (creative, delicious cocktails). Apps were also tasty and punctual. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Without any updates from our server, food took about an hour to arrive. Everyone’s dishes were under-salted and “off” in some way (burger buns were much too big for the patties + cold + served without French fries; squid ink pasta was flavorless and very chewy). Something must have been up in the kitchen! Which I understand, but was confused as to why our server never said anything or apologized for the tardiness of our orders. Disappointing!

Great restaurant with some delicious vegan options. The tofu lettuce wraps eaten as a starter exceeded our expectations! I chose the mac n cheese mains, which was nice but needed more flavour.Upon arrival, we didn't have a reservation and there weren't any tables available inside but there was one outside.Service was therefore a bit slow, from being waited to getting food. I ordered a coffee and was asked if I wanted syrup, to which I said yes - and this was forgotten until requested again, and that came slowly. My friend's tea after dinner took so long that we cancelled it, along with dessert (but the options looked great!).Vegetarian options: Great vegan options
Great spot for the family! The food was delicious and with menu items that are the opposite of basic. The cocktails! So amazing and clever! Seaweed bitters, what? Also great zero proof options. Great vegan and GF options on the menu. Staff was attentive and informed.

I’m going to give it a five stars, just because I would hate for the rating to go for a local business, unless it was unbearable! It’s always room for improvement! So, I had been going to the old building for years and this was my first time in the new building, beautiful place, the culture and vibe it had is gone. The workers are bland and barely friendly, the more you ask, the more unfriendly they become. Such a difference from the old upbeat atmosphere. The food was ok, lacked flavor, especially the Mac and cheese. You have for salt and they bring it, instead of each table having it. The to go plates are too small. It’s very clean and beautiful!! Over a draining, weird experience, hope to see it get better
