My best friend and I came in after a wonderful meal at Windrush Grill and we walked in to order and wasn't greeted, yet as others came through the door the workers were sure to speak to them. Also they skipped over me and my friend as we were standing there waiting for our order ro be taken, instead of taking our order they went to the people behind us who were white and they did they for the next three customers. Then once then black girl finished whatever she was doing she took our order which I appreciate. After she made our shakes, we stood there waiting to pay and AGAIN, they skipped over my best friend and I and got the white people. The workers skipped over us when we were clearly ready to be rung up for our items, standing clearly in front of the register. Ive never experienced racism in my life first hand till this day and I will tell everyone whom I come across about this horrible experience I had. The one in bossier is much better and I will never be returning to this location!
When I went in to order a milkshake all of the white workers only took the orders of the other white customers that were coming in and we were standing waiting for about 15 mins someone finally came and took my order and apologized on the other workers behalf I still don’t appreciate the service they gave the white customers vs. the black customers
I placed an order on line July 7, for a 1/4 sheet sprinkle ice cream cake. The description says two layers of yellow cake and two layers of birthday cake ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. I requested to pick it up on July 11 at noon and to have it read Happy Birthday Hannah. I called on July 10 to make sure I was correct on my pick up day and time and make sure it would be ready. After a lengthy hold and being told they did not have the order even though my credit card had been charged, they managed to find the order. I confirmed the pick up day and time. On July 11, I arrived to pick it up only to find that the cake was not ready. After the employee contacted the owner, the resolution was to have one of them try and finish it while I waited. I decided to have it picked up the next day by my daughter along with complementary cookies for my troubles. When we served the cake we discovered it did not have the “Happy Birthday Hannah” on it and also it was made with vanilla ice cream not birthday cake ice cream, and lastly, it only had one very thin layer of yellow cake. While I appreciate the free cookies, the ice cream cake was a complete let down!
I wanted to share both praise and a concern from my visit around 8 PM tonight. The ice cream was fantastic, and the customer service overall was excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful.
However, I observed an unfortunate incident that overshadowed an otherwise positive experience. There was an individual—who appeared to be a lead or manager—named Caden/Kaden, who was notably rude to one specific team member that was actively assisting a customer (me). As a corporate director and someone who trains and mentors leaders, I found his behavior concerning.
Correcting employees publicly, especially in a demeaning or harsh manner, is not only unprofessional but also demoralizing to the team and uncomfortable for customers to witness. I was embarrassed for the staff member called “stupid” who was simply just trying to cash me out, and frankly, for Caden/Kaden as well.
Strong leadership is about support, guidance, and respect. If this individual is in a management role, I would strongly recommend that he be provided with leadership development training before continuing in such a capacity.
Again, my compliments to the rest of the team and the overall experience—this feedback is given with the hope of seeing such a great team better supported from the top down.
tori (?) was very helpful and personable :)

Every time I walk into marble slab I’m always greeted with a helpful worker, but one employee in particular goes above and beyond. Chris is one of the best workers who is dedicated, professional, friendly, and cheerful.

Had a wonderful experience ordering a cookie cake!
I called in and they made ordering our birthday cake so easy.
I went to pick it up today and they were so sweet. Even gave us extra icing since we ordered a plain cookie cake.
Great experience overall!

The cookie cakes are so fresh and the cookies are always fresh. I do wish they had the cheesecake brownies more often. Also the sweat cream ice cream mixed with fresh Strawberry is delightful 😊!! It can be very busy at this location but the staff always try to serve you with a smile.

Had a really poor experience here tonight, which is unfortunate because it was my first time trying it, and it is just around the corner from home. Could’ve easily became a place I give money to regularly.
I ordered online for pickup. Arrive at the store 4 mins before it’s due for pickup. Patiently wait as 4 staff help 8 customers. Just as they conclude, a group of 15-20 teenagers come in, and immediately go to the counter calling out the employees’ names as they clearly all know each other. Instead of asking if I need help or acknowledge that I was standing there, the staff start serving the large group of teens.
After waiting 4-5 mins past the 6 mins I’d already waited, I push to the register and tell one of the staff that I just need to pickup an order. She then goes to the back to a commercial fridge, to only not find the order. She ask a coworker where the order was placed, only for to be retrieved from a mini fridge from behind the counter, which surely had no chance of keeping it as cold as the commercial unit would’ve. She hands me my shake, which has clearly already melted, and the cup of ice cream, which appears still frozen. Get home only to find out that both are melted nearly 60% of the way.
Product was clearly ready before the site said to expect it. It was then stored inappropriately causing it to melt. And teenage staff will clearly prioritize helping friends over helping customers that have already been waiting.

Emily was very rude and would not stop yelling at the other employees and the music which is controlled by the employees was very obnoxious and loud and I asked her to turn it down and she ignored me and then I asked a young man named Sean and he helped and was very kind.

I have visited this location countless times and have always had a pleasant time besides when I am greeted by one worker specifically “Emily” was her name or so she told me. One of the visits I walked into the store and heard her yelling to her coworkers about a recent intimate relationship she had recently had in the store’s bathroom. When she acknowledged me she continued to talk as if I wasn’t there and curse and explain what dirty and nasty things she had done inside of the store. The next visit entailed her to act as if I wasn’t there and treat me as a friend instead of a customer and when I asked when the cookies were baked she proceeded to tell me the cookies were were old and that the owner did not care about how long they stayed out because it “lost her money”. The marble slab has always been a good place for me to enjoy a desert bug after my last visit when “Emily” was talking about the things she had done in store with a customer present I won’t be returning. Do better marble slab I used to love this place I’d hate to see this place go out of business due to lack of health concerns and employees. The health department needs a inspection or something here to make this store run better.

The ice cream is great. The employees rather some of the employees are rude at clearly act like they don’t really want to be there.
Me and my family visited this location, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Chris. Chris helped me get cookies while my wife in daughter walked over to the ice cream side. After I was done, I walked over to the ice cream side and saw two guys helping this one girl while we waited. When they got done, and the girl left. Both guys walked off and ignored the fact that we were standing there to go talk to a buddy who walked in. Chris came over and helped my wife and daughter. Then my mother in law. He was very friendly. I asked Chris if he was a manager, and to my surprise, the answer was no. One of the guys who walked off and ignored us was a shift lead. To the manager, Chris is the guy you need to train and put in charge. I've been a manager and head chef at a few restaurants and would hire Chris to work for me any day. He clearly has pride in his work and is great at customer service. He will keep your customers coming back. As for your shift leads, you need at least one new one. Chris saved the experience for us, and hopefully, one day I see a manager tag on him.
