I'm from out of town and I'm very glad I was told about this place. Very well priced, food was fantastic and the service was prime. Will def be returning before I leave, fantastic place for local fare and the sauces were also something else to talk about.

While traveling we love to try new local spots…today was Trapps in W Monroe, Louisiana. The food was amazing, I had the loaded seafood nachos as an appetizer, these are made on house made chips and covered in shrimp and crawfish…highly recommend! For my main course I had the smothered catfish and it was outstanding! Served on a bed of rice and smothered in étouffée it was delicious! Combine this with our awesome server Tessa, and it made for a great dinner!

Service was great, food came out quickly. The only thing I did like is the food wasn't seasoned. My expectation of a a Cajun seafood restaurant is flavor. Being I'm from the south. I have quickly realized there's a difference between northern Louisiana and southern Louisiana. Bring your own seasons. The boiled shrimp was boiled in water with no seasoning.

Terrible, took one bite of my blackened shrimp po boy then realized none of the shrimp was not deveined! My husband got the catfish po boy and he said it was the worst catfish he’d ever had in his life, no seasoning. The kids mac and cheese is Kraft mac n cheese. The sweet tea is good.

Great food, great service with a wonderful view of the river. We sat outside and Jacey did an awesome job taking care of us. We had the Shrimp Poboy with homemade chips and the Blackened catfish with Asparagus and a side salad. Dessert was the bread pudding and it was very tasty!
