This place is our favorite!!! The staff here are so nice and the food is ALWAYS incredible! Hats off to the chef! Also always a good bar selection. There's no Cape Cod without the Ho you Need to Know.

Live in the area, love this place as one of the best local bars ever, but things have changed. Ownership is new and so is the feel of the place. What is crazy is they were here when it worked. Now it is turning into a bar vs a pub/restaurant. Turn down the music, correct the loud and vulgar 30 somethings thinking it is their bar vs. our favorite family place, and put some workers behind the bar that want to know to us vs just serve us. We don't need another Dinos or Tavernas. This is exactly what your fans were fearful of .......what was wrong with the previous success

hard to imagine that the food and service could be worse since it came under new management. But it is. Staff are rude and disorganized. clearly no training or structure to the place. They are trying new dishes that the absolutely have no business trying to cook. Risotto..really, it was uneatable. they can just about cook a burger. without screwing it up. we are staying away until it changes hands again which my guess will be in the not-too-distant future.

New management but the same old Kettle Ho, a small and intimate restaurant and bar with great service and good food. It has a very local feel, sort of like the Cheers of Cotuit. But get there early on a weekend night if you want a seat.

It was our first time here. It was packed. The hostess stand is in the back right and not too noticeable when the place was packed to the brim. So when we walked in no one acknowledged us (it is that kind of place - like everyone who has been there has come for generations and "knows the unspoken rules" - which is fine but we stood around for a bit before we could actually talk to someone to put our name in for a table, which was a 45 minute wait at 7pm). Lucky for us, two seats opened up at the bar after 15 minutes. We sat there and had GREAT service by Sam the bar tender. He was mindful, attententive, made excellent drinks and could talk to all people. When I say generations come there, it is not an exaggeration. There were people in their 20s, 30s and with babies in tow, middle-aged, retired, and even those spry folk in their 80s!The appetizer special- shrimp postickers - was ok and a little over cooked but the main dishes were great- little necks over pasta and baked sea scallops. And decently priced for the Cape! We will be back.

Very pleasant! I'll go again and have already recommended it to friends for their Prime Rib Thursdays! Service was initially slow, but got better!

Salad was black and the only thing the waitress said was "it was made this morning " . The scallops seared on one side and raw on other and were cold. Ruben meat was unrecognizable and flavorless. Flat bread was edible. The root beer, Pepsi and ginger ale were terrible . The service wasn't very good. Definatly will not be going back ! They could have cared less ...

We absolutely love dropping in at the Kettle Ho when we are in Cotuit for a Kettleers game. We always sit at the bar. The service is fast and friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere rings of nostalgic Cape Cod. Definitely drop in if you're in the area ... I know you'll enjoy it.

I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated. Maybe the pub fare is better. All the seafood dishes my party ordered were not good. The clams were overdone, the pasta was runny and not tasty. My husband did like the baked scallops! The chowder tasted canned. The waitress was lovely, she was handling almost the entire place with a smile and no mistakes. The burgers we saw go by did look nice. Townie atmosphere.

Nice pub atmosphere on Cape Cod. The food was great and service pleasant. I expect it gets very crowded in the summer season but it is worth the effort to eat there.
