Can I get a 10 star? Even though our server was lacking a bit of luster, she wasn't all that bad just meh. But the owner, GM, glistening bar, super clean establishment, beautiful decor and well executed (simple sophistication but pricy) food was memorable. Can't wait to come back. Particularly when they make the sexiest polenta I've had in quite a while. And drinks equally sensual and tempting!

Beautiful and delicious. Everything about this restaurant had me wanting to come back. My coworker and I were visiting Hyannis for a conference this weekend and chose The West End for dinner due to the close proximity to our hotel. The second we saw the outside of the building, we knew we were going to love the atmosphere. The hostesses were warm and welcoming. I requested to be sat near their brightly lit up library on the wall and they were happily accommodating. Our server was attentive, friendly, prompt, and patient. The drinks were fabulous from the taste to the presentation. The food was absolutely perfect, again with both taste and presentation. I am not from the area, and always like to try new restaurants when I go somewhere, but The West End will be difficult to stray away from to instead try something new. I may just have to make an exception for this restaurant to continue visiting during the annual conference.

Excellent food, top notch service (the constant water pouring was even a bit over the top!), and the ambiance was something between a 20s billiard room and an 18th century library. Loved it. Perfect birthday dinner! Fancy dress not required but I sure felt more in line with how lovely the vibe is with one on. :)

Not to be missed! My wife and I sat at the bar, we had dinner and drinks. Our bartender Josh was incredibly helpful with choosing food items and clearly had extensive knowledge of the menu. The food was fantastic, the drink my wife ordered was expertly balanced and the vibes in the restaurant were all on point. Thank you to the west end for providing the neighborhood with an elevated experience!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Barnstable, if not on Cape. No matter what you order, it will be of the highest quality and extremely delicious. Staff is very professional and attentive. Cocktails are fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend for an amazing meal (not the cheapest) and will absolutely go again.

Hosted my daughter-in-law’s Baby Shower at the West End on June 30th. Had 35 people in private room and patio for Brunch. Everything was top notch. Food and very experienced staff made it a wonderful event. Highly recommend The West End for similar events. Working with Meaghan Kennedy was a smooth easy arrangement.

Nice place, expensive and the service was poor. Wasn't extremely busy for a Saturday evening but had to wait longer then we should have for food, drinks and service. Server never checked on our table on her own, had to "chase her down" several times for various basic things.

The West End is one of those places that my wife and I like so much, I almost hate to spread the word. Their Sunday Jazz brunch is honestly one of the hidden gem experiences on all of Cape Cod. You get beautiful jazz music played by skilled musicians, coupled with delicious food, perfectly executed and presented, all in a gorgeous room with impeccable service — every time. Believe me, you step into this fairly unassuming building next to the rotary and you would think you’re suddenly in one of the swankier restaurants in downtown Boston, New York or any other big city. But the BEST part is that there’s no pretentiousness here. It’s a laid-back, relaxed and fun vibe. Plus, the food is at a very reasonable price point. You can go to greasy spoons a mile away and pay more for an eggs Benedict than the amazing dish you’ll get at The West End, sans atmosphere and live music.

Btw, Josh, we’ve hardly laughed so hard at breakfast before, you rock!

Enough said. Just try it. Or not. ?

We ate dinner here May 2 and 3, 2024. The food in both cases was excellent - from the raw oysters to the pan fried halibut to the Irish coffee. Our server Alex was also excellent: knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He provided superb service even when we requested that certain condiments be left out of a dish. My husband and I highly recommend this Restsurant for a fine dining experience!

Dined at WestEnd for a wedding anniversary dinner.Beautiful interior and very comfortable seats.Starters of mushroom focaccia and arugula salad were delicious. Entrees of chicken parmigiana and prime flatiron steak were a bit of a letdown. Chicken parm could've used more sauce and the potatoes accompanying the steak were salted a bit too much.Dessert of espresso martinis and a variety of ice creams were delicious..All in all, a nice evening out, just felt our entrees could've been a notch better.
