Top notch experience, the food and drinks were fantastic and so was the atmosphere. Great for a fun night out rather than a quiet dinner but that's what we were there for. 10/10 for us! The corn is a must.

My wife and I LOVE this place. Our favorite items on the menu that we get each time is the corn, fish tacos, and taquitos. And don’t sleep on the ribs. They are awesome!

If you're looking for authentic or actual Mexican food, please go elsewhere. I ordered the after hour drink which was the only okay thing. For appetizers we had the calamari & oaxacan cheeseburger, and let me tell you, it was a day old microwaved food. We wanted to give it another chance and order the steak tacos, those are not tacos, they were two cold lettuce/carrot soggy pieces of boiled yet cold steak wraps. It's really pretty inside but the food doesn't complement it, if you're in Boston Mariel would be the better choice.

Incredibly accommodating as I had to adjust the reservation a few times, overall the service was fine but didn't really get a welcoming friendly vibe. It was a great spot to just sit and not be rushed, we were seated in the back room which wasn't as loud as the main dining room (which was perfect!). Food and drinks were OK.

The food and drinks were great! Very affordable and great quality. The restaurant is on the louder side, and we definitely felt rushed (server wanting to take our order before we had begun our app, clearing away plates the moment we finished eating, etc). Overall a good experience though, I would go again!

Very fun atmosphere with lively music and tasty drinks.

We enjoyed this spot serving tasty tapas at a fair price for quality of food, service, and restaurant ambiance. It made for a nice date night spot!We had chips and queso to start, then split the birria tacos (my favorite), carnitas gordita, and ceviche.I loved the birria tacos, generously sized, crisply fried, well marinated and with a tasty jus. The carnitas gordita had a lovely sauce that we just wanted much more of than what was given, plus pork piled impressively high. The ceviche was my least favorite, as it was a different take on the traditional dish and the flavors were both unexpected and not working for me. It felt overcomplicated when I was hoping for a classic, well-executed dish revolving around, well, citrus and salt. While we were seated in a smaller back room with a relatively quiet environment, the main front portion seemed a tad loud for conversation with louder music.Overall, I had mid to low personal expectations being a Texas native with Mexican heritage. My expectations were well exceeded, and we would come back to Citrus & Salt, staying away from what we didn't like and trying some of the more frequently highly-rated dishes.

Everything about this place has always been great. Even when they are slammed, the staff does a great job keeping the drinks coming and the food on time. 10/10

Service was lacking. Our waitress was pulled to cover a large party after ordering first round of drinks. She then took over 45 minutes to check on us to then take our order. Then we we tried to get her attention to order our dinner, she made it seem like it was the biggest inconvenience and rushed us. The fish tacos were obviously fish sticks re-heated as well. Overall, not a great experience. Would not dine again.

It was delicious food and for somewhat good value. However, I arrived to the restaurant after making a reservation 40 days ahead of time, and was told my reservation would not be ready for 10 minutes. Also, we struggled with getting service to our table, and often had empty water glasses, and took over an hour to get our entrees. Overall, I was slightly disappointed.

We're fans of Buttermilk & Bourbon and were going to theater in the area so we decided to try Citrus & Salt for the first time. - To start with they honored my request for a low, regular table instead of a high top which was great for the accessibility in our party. - They had two Agua Frescas on the menu serving the function of a mocktail, we tried and loved both. The sangria was good as well. - We had the chips and salsa, birria tacos, oaxacan cheeseburger empanadas, calamari, and fried chicken quesadilla and all of them were delicious - all of the sauces from all the dishes went well with everything. - The pineapple dole whip was excellent as well - I liked that the syrup wasn't overly sweet, and clearly made from fresh pineapple, and the tiny dice of the chunks was absolutely perfect for eating with sorbet/ice cream. - I also put a note in that we were going to the theater and they had everything out and ready for us and brought the check right away - we had plenty of time!
