Enjoyed my stay and it was convenient enough, with several restaurants in walking distance and Fenway nearby. The room was clean and modern, and the staff helpful and friendly. A nice lobby to hang out with friends, and when I needed help from the concierge to find a shop to unexpectedly fix my phone, his directions were spot on. Very comfortable stay.

Hotel Commonwealth has been my favorite hotel in the city of Boston for over 10 years. I take every opportunity when there is a special occasion to stay there. I know that every stay will include the kindest, most attentive and accommodating service from every staff member from front desk to valet to housekeeping and in room dining. The rooms are all amazing and the location can’t be beat. A perfect spot to get to anywhere in Boston easily and just a short walk from Newbury St, Boston Common, Lansdowne St, lots of restaurants and music venues etc. Its a slice of heaven on earth and I feel so grateful for everything it is and everything the people that work hard to make it what it is do.

I planned a stay at Hotel Commonwealth with my 5 year old daughter as a special treat to her. The staff at the front desk did an incredible job welcoming us and making her feel special. They granted us an upgrade to a lovely, spacious room and pulled out all the stops presenting my daughter with a teddy bear and various trinkets to play with. The ease of having three great restaurants attached to the property made meals super easy. Thanks for a lovely stay - we will happily return!

We love everything about this hotel! The staff is amazing always friendly and helpful with everything from recommendations to directions and everything in between. Nick has been especially great every time we've visited! Rooms are thoughtfully appointed and super clean. The location can't be beat if you have a BU student or want to enjoy Fenway events. Looking forward to our next stay in June!

I stayed at the Hotel Commonwealth on a weekend trip to visit my son going to Northeastern. Hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Love the refillable water bottle! Beautiful room and great coffee in the mornings. Will stay here on every visit.

We booked the room for my husband and I and our daughters who were going to a convention at the Hynes. The Valet helped them get a cab (their first time) and he even asked me if they made it safely! We will definitely try to come stay again!

I just checked out of the Hotel Commonwealth and was very impressed with my experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, helpful with dining recommendations and accommodating. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed the decor throughout the hotel from the rooms to the elevators and of course, the lobby. It was a clever way to honor the area. As I checked out, Mr Ney, the Director of Front Office, took his time to share more about the hotel and offer suggestions for future stays. As a parent of a BU student, I will be back often and only plan to stay at the Hotel Commonwealth!

Excellent hotel. We have a freshman at BU and have already stayed at a few different hotels nearby campus. Hotel Commonwealth is definitely our favorite. Perfect location and extremely nice, accommodating staff. The hotel is also very well-maintained and appointed. The perfect Boston hotel experience.

Great hotel near BU and Fenway and only a short walk to Newbury Street. Rooms are comfortable and service very good. It’s not 5 star luxury but it doesn’t pretend to be and it’s pretty close to it. I recommend for the area. There is room service despite previous comments to the contrary and the linens are comfortable. Great restaurants right at hotel.
We came for college visits. Commonwealth was in the perfect location for walking and taking the T around town. Great, thoughtful, friendly staff, totally clean, quiet room. Could not have been better! Lots of good food around. It’s also a very safe neighborhood with good shopping.

My family I stayed for a couple of days here. We stayed in a 2 Queen Fenway view room. We got bogged down at check in but the staff were great about it. You definitely choosing this place for location, location, location. The bathrooms and showers are great. I thought the bed was comfy, the pillows were ok. Overall the room was just ok. But the staff, location and shower made up for it. Would recommend to my friends, and come back as well.

The moment I stepped onto the property staff were there to help in any way possible. They were so kind, courteous, and helpful. At check-in you're given a metal water bottle filled with great spring water, and then there is a tap on site where you can refill with either still or sparkling water. The entrance to the T is conveniently located on the property and ride shares are abundant in the area. There is a lot with in walking distance and the proximity to Fenway is perfect! The room amenities were wonderful! They went out of their way to assist me in getting a package mailed as well! I would absolutely recommend staying here!Rooms: The room was clean and well stocked with amenities. Even the hair dryer was top quality!Safety: The doormen are always there ready to help with directions, recommendations, or getting a ride!Walkability: There is so much to do in this area within walking distance! The bridge over the interstate gives you quick access to Fenway Park. Some of the sidewalks are the old brick and can be unlevel in places, but if you watch where you're going it's not an issue!Food & drinks: There were a lot of places to eat in the immediate area, including in the hotel itself. I highly recommend the Citizens Public House and Oyster Bar, a quick walk from the hotel.

Excellent location as we walked just a few minutes to the concert we were going to at house of blues. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room had an awesome view of Fenway. It was clean and spacious as well. Jeff was so kind at checkout and I let him know this was one of my favorite hotel stays! Will absolutely stay again!
