Poor experience … server was miserable and unfriendly, food definitely not as expected and when questioned the server on the missing Mac and Cheese was “advised” “Oh yeah we changed the menu”

It's moved around Kenmore Suare in the 30 years I've been going here, but the atmosphere is still there, the food is excellent, & the beer selection is excellent. Great staff also. I try to always get in here when I'm in the area.

good food, decent prices and friendly staff. Would recommend on game day as it is not too busy and you will get a seat.

This place has amazing food and atmosphere! We don’t usually eat at the same place more than once when traveling, but we loved the food and the family owned business! Aunt and Uncle, nephews and niece run this restaurant.

We stopped into Cornwalls after a Sox game. Understandably, the place was busy. But I got the feeling that this place is busy most of the time. Why? Because it’s good. It’s a well oiled machine run by the same people who opened it 40+ years ago. When you do something for that long you get pretty good at it. The food was good, the service was good, the prices reasonable, and the vibe was friendly. What more can you ask for? Will return the next time we’re in town. Hopefully for the playoffs.

For my first sit-down meal in Massachusetts post-COVID, I was delightfully surprised by Cornwalls in Kenmore Square. It was the perfect place to drink and eat before the Red Sox game, outside, with good service, reasonable prices, and great quality food. For starters, I had a couple of Fiddleheads, a spectacular IPA on draft, and the waitress abided by my wishes by serving the beer with foam. It’s so rare these days that this actually happens, but with a good beer, it makes all the difference in the world. Things were going along so smoothly that I decided to try out the Grilled Reuben rather than eat traditional ballpark fare inside Fenway. It was the first one I had eaten in quite a while, and at $11.95, it was a steal. Lean corned beef and sauerkraut topped with melted Swiss cheese and Russian dressing on dark rye -- even my friend who had never eaten a Reuben before in his life (he was living under a rock) thought it was good. It came with steak fries which were actually hot, and a dill pickle. It was a simple meal, but everything was perfect. The server was chill and attentive, the folks inside were mellow and nice, the beer hit the spot, and the meal was better than I could have imagined. Thanks, Cornwalls!

Pretzel bites are to die for. Atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The Moscow mules are the best I’ve had and served in legit copper mugs. Loved this place so much we returned for a second time

We came in for a drink but the atmosphere was so nice we decided to stay for dinner. Great service and nice food. Overall a good evening!

Our journey of walking around the area after a winning Red Sox game (yea!) we ended up at Cornwall's. We were greeted with a warm welcoming at the door by a couple. The owners? The place was very lively and loud. It was a mixture of college folks and families. We were able to find a nice corner booth immediately. We were lucky to find it as I think it was the only one available. As I couldn't find any soup on the menu I ordered the Shepard's Pie. It was disappointing. It was a large bowl of ground beef with masked potatoes on top with gravy. But, not like the same flavors that would one would make at home. My husband ordered a hamburger and cleaned his plate. Out lovely server, Jessica, did come by and check with us several times asking if all was OK. I always said fine. My mistake. She graciously later removed my bowl and replaced it with the onion soup that I chose. I appreciated her accommodation. Everyone else looked to be having a wonderful experience and enjoying their meals.
