The margarita pizza was wet and soggy, and undercooked, and Caesar salad very bland. When I asked to send the pizza back and ask for it to be removed from the cheque the server at the time (at 1:30pm) told me that it couldn’t be done because the manager was not in so I would have to pay, no exceptions. Terrible customer service. I ended up paying as me and my wife had to leave urgently to make an appointment. I implore anyone in the area to avoid like the plague. A stain on an otherwise lovely trip to Boston.

The pizzas here are as good as everyone else has been commenting, very well done. Slightly chewy with the perfect roasty from the wood fire oven, highly recommended. The chicken parm was good but paled compared to the O Mast pizza. Decent selection of wines and cocktails. Four stars only due to the atmosphere, ( I went in winter and didn't get to sit outside), which was a bit dated and faded with an upgrade needed. Didn't detract from the tasty food but puts it at 4 stars as the ambience doesn't "wow" you.

Had a nice early dinner with friends at Mast. The staff was very welcoming. we shared small plates and a pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious. I loved the OMast Pizza. Definitely get the meatballs. I will go to Mast again to try their homemade pastas. This place is the real thing!

The food and the atmosphere were incredible. However, we noticed that in the two times we have visited, as a young adult couple, we have been treated noticeably differently compared to other older people around the restaurant. Our waiter often dismissed us quickly and we were mostly ignored throughout our visit. We would order the food again but the service wasn't the best.

Best pizza in Boston, hands down. Authentic napolitan, makes me feel like home every time. Please just have a couple of beers on tap, even just one pilsner and one ipa. It would be the cherry on top :) thank you!!

It is as advertised- we ordered the meatball appetizer & the meatballs & sauce were homemade & amazing. We then shared the prosciutto pizza- the crust was the best I have had in a long time & the pizza overall was amazing.

I never leave reviews, but felt one was warranted here. I wanted to warn people so they don't end up disappointed. We didn't expect this place to be amazing, but booked it because of close proximity to the opera house and saw decent reviews for the pizza. The vibe was much more casual than we were expecting. More like a chain like Bertucci's, maybe not even as nice to be honest. The two of us planned to split a pizza and a pasta. Their website talks about their great pizzas (it's literally a pop-up you have to close out of to see the rest of the site). Our server came over twice to check if we were ready to order and didn't mention anything about pizzas not being available. When we were ready to order, we tried to order a pizza and she said "oh, we don't have pizza right now". This would have been nice to know before we booked the place, but at the very least she could have let us know when we arrived. Literally half the menu is pizza... We ended up splitting the chicken parm and the wild boar fettucine. Both were completely flavorless and the chicken was chewy. Very disappointing and will absolutely not be back. If you're used to even somewhat decent Italian food, skip this place.

This was my 2nd time at MAST (went for pizza before which was AMAZING). This time I was in a group and we all had non-pizza items. The salmon was partially raw, unfortunately. The service was great.

Decent Italian restaurant. Was quite surprised that for an accredited Neapolitan pizza place, they only have 3 pizzas on the menu and they aren’t very imaginative. This is a solid 4/5 - service pretty good, food pretty good (although not the tiramisu, that was not good), atmosphere was fine.Come here if you want pasta or pizza and don’t mind a very limited and slightly boring selection

Diner

I used to love dine at this restaurant, but this last experience was little disappointed. Cocktails doesn't have much alcohol in and costs $16. Calamari appetizer size has shrink 50% with only 6-7 small pieces and costs $17. On the other note, salad still very fresh and pizza tastes great.

This place has amazing pizza. Perfect Neapolitan style. We ordered the funghi and parmigiana. The base soft and not chewy, just perfect. The marinara sauce was the right amount of tangy. Eat it while it’s hot.
