Max Brenner

Upon entering Max Brenner, the aroma of chocolate is delightful and initiates the craving for sweets! Their specialty is chocolate and deserts so that is what I planned on experiencing. The food itself is just alright but it's got so many fun, creative items on the menu it's great for a date night or girl's night out. The drinks and savory food menu items have a chocolate-themed twists on them (such as cocao dusted waffle fries, Onion rings with dark chocolate ranch, etc). When I came I tried the crystal churros fondue ($12) and some sort of waffle sandwich with beef that I don't think is on the menu anymore. I forget what this specific desert was called, but it was a chocolate pizza. I got half the whole thing which was 13$ I think, but it was delicious! Bread was a bit dry but I got what I had wanted. Though, I do not believe it's worth 13 for one half. I believe this place is too expensive, but if you want to treat yourself to overpriced deserts, it can be delicious!
