Stately historic old hotel. Absolutely impeccable service from every staff member. Lovely rooms not quite up to current competitive standards. Parker Restaurant limited to breakfast and lunch. Room service is also available. Located in the historic center of "Boston proper".

Location is great, right in the middle of the Freedom Trail and near Boston CommonsThe building itself is really interesting from a historical and architectural perspective. Most of the common areas and facilities are really well keptI stayed in one of the cheaper rooms. The room itself was somewhat small, but that’s expected from an older hotel. The decor in the room made it feel a little bit datedI got the room at a discounted price because of a conference I was attending at the hotel, the actual price is a little bit in the pricier side for what you get

First things first .... let's talk about location. THIS place has it!!! $10-20 Lyft ride depending on the time of the day from the airport. Then you can literally walk to everything. You are right on the Freedom Trail and a couple minutes walk from Boston Common.Although I didn't eat at the bar or their restaurant, the bar was full with a wait in the evening. We were going to grab the Boston cream pie and have a drink, but there was a wait. The host was super friendly and helpful and got us the pie to go so we could take it to our room instead. They have a cute gift shop that also has coffee and snacks and is open during the day and part of the evening. We were greeted with a friendly smile from the front desk and they were so helpful and kind. There is also a concierge available if you would like help and a bell hop as well for your luggage. The elevators have that old school charm. The hotel has that old school charm that has been taken care of through the years. Our room had a nice view of city buildings. It kind of reminded me a cute little Paris view. I attached the view from the room. We loved it!For the location and history of the hotel, I highly recommend this place!Walkability: Right on the Freedom Trail

This hotel is a piece of Boston history. Our room was cozy and quiet. The worst thing was the bad, too soft, as well as the pillows! The position is great, in the heart of the city. We forgot our adaptor and they couldn't provide us with one, which I believe is a service a hotel of this level should offer. The price is high, but I guess you pay also for the name of the place.

The Parker House was built in 1855, and it has a very old, classic, original feel to it. I heard that it is soon to be renovated, and it probably needs it, but I enjoyed this upscale room from days long gone by!One warning is that this central neighborhood can be noisy at night.

The location of the hotel is spot on, just around the corner from State, or Downtown transit. The staff in the hotel, you couldn't really ask for more, lovely and friendly.I booked this through British Airways as a package and had the Traditional room. The hotel write up from BA was a luxurious grand hotel, and if looking to be impressed look no further. This was a massive let down and one of the worse rooms I've stayed in for the price I paid. The room was dark, even with the blind up. This is due to the yellow painted walls and the dark oak furniture. With the room being so small, you could only get out of the bed one side, this was because the bed was nearly butted up against the wall. You couldn't even move the bed to make more room.Though we didn't stay in the room as we were out and about we do like some comfort, especially the "price" we paid for the week.Saying that, the room was clean. In the UK, this room would be classed as a budget room and wouldn't pay no more than £70 per night. I'm sorry to say that, but I can get a better room at Gatwick Airport in a Premier Inn which is costing me £55 a night next month.I have been told that the hotel is due to a makeover in 2024...and I understand that the hotel is old with old features from what the staff said but my house is 100 years old, but it has a touch of class with decor...If anyone is reading this from the hotel, PLEASE DON'T PAINT THE ROOMS YELLOW, and your hallways to the rooms.Would I stay here again.....Not sure...Maybe I would try a AirBnB, but if I did, I would request that I would NOT stay in that room again.I feel disappointed in writing this, because first looks, the hotel look impressive.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. Terrible hotel. Nothing has been updated in probably over 100 years. The rooms are tiny and there’s hardly any room beside the bed. I can appreciate the hotel if it cost <$200 a night. However, their prices are ridiculously high and on top of that they charge fees for Wi-Fi and water bottle. I’ll never stay here again if I have an alternate option.

Recently stayed at the Omni Parker House with colleagues. Found this hotel last minute. Here are my pros/cons:Pros: friendly staff, historical charm, great locationCons: Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. The rooms, albeit clean, are severely outdated and in desperate need of a face lift. The television in the room was small and the interrupted DirectTV signal limited our ability to watch a majority of the channels. No robe included. The price doesn't match the accommodations at all... it's very hard to not feel as if I was ripped off. If I'm paying luxury, resort fees, the aesthetic of the room should match that. I, unfortunately, will think twice about staying here again.Rooms: Clean, but outdated.

I guess this place has some historical significance and yes, it was well situated downtown. However, it is in dire need of an upgrade! It was very dated. I even spotted a mouse in the lobby! Totally outrageous for the price ($500/night) One positive was the staff - they graciously moved me into a different room when I mentioned noise from the adjacent room. Their goodwill added the 2nd star.
Entire staff were efficient, cheerful and ready to assist. Sunday Brunch at the Parker House was fantastic. My room was well appointed and comfortable. I had an absolutely fantastic stay for 3 nights.Safety: Hotel is so well lit, safety never entered my mind.Walkability: Close to everything, Beacon Hill, shops, restaurants, tourist attractions.Food & drinks: Sunday Brunch was fantastic! Table of 6 ordering 6 different brunch items and every plate was delicious!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Omni Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel lacked basic courtesy and customer service.Upon arrival, my family and I, including young children in a stroller, were left stranded at the entrance. Despite our obvious need for assistance, the doorman callously abandoned us without offering any help. We were left waiting outside the hotel, hoping for someone to notice our predicament. Eventually, someone did approach us, but instead of providing a proper solution, they insisted on carrying our heavy stroller up the stairs, displaying a complete lack of consideration for our situation.Additionally, the hotel's bar and restaurant services were nothing short of a scam. We were given vouchers for free drinks and a restaurant discount, but these turned out to be utterly worthless. On the first night, the coffee shop staff informed us that the voucher was no longer valid, leaving us without the promised complimentary drinks. When we attempted to use the voucher for orange juice the following morning, we were met with a series of excuses and contradictions from different staff members. First, we were told the machine was broken, then we were informed that orange juice was too expensive to be covered by the voucher. This inconsistency and lack of transparency in their policies left a sour taste in our mouths, quite literally. The Omni Hotel's blatant disregard for basic customer service and their deceptive practices make it abundantly clear that they do not deserve the exorbitant $500 per night price tag. If this establishment claims to be a 4-star hotel, then it is a laughable and insulting representation of what genuine hospitality should be. Save your money and your sanity by avoiding this hotel at all costs.

I’ve stayed in a lot historic hotels across the US and the ones that were a little worn charged what they were worth. I loved the decor/vibe of the lobby in the hotel, the location and expected the rooms to be small but the other reviews about the state of the rooms/ hallways are correct. The room was clean but dated in a way that wasn’t preservation so much as lack of maintenance which made it feel dirty if that makes sense. Again, I could appreciate this place for 200 a night (150 square foot single double bed room) in Boston but the prices do not reflect the value.

The service was unbeatable. When we arrived, everyone was very hospitable and friendly from the doorman, to the gentleman in the lobby, and the woman at the front desk. The room was a little small and we didn’t have a good view, however, we were only staying for one night and didn’t spend much time in the hotel. The bed was a little lumpy but I actually found it to be pretty comfortable and I slept well. For the service alone I would absolutely stay again.

The staff at this hotel, particularly Richard, went above and beyond. The lobby was so busy and he was multitasking multiple guests and kept a smile on his face and was so kind to everyone. I could tell he really enjoyed his job and he was so kind to me as well. The staff here are hardworking and it does get busy, they are hustling and working their hardest. Jackie was also very kind and accommodating during my stay.
