This place holds a special place in my heart as one of the last true Southie bars. It was my version of Cheers. However, with the passing of Tony, a lot of things have changed. I ordered a shot and was stunned when one shot was a whopping $14. I miss the days of Butter behind the bar and cheap drinks. I’ll cherish the memories but it’s just not the same anymore.

Sincere honest review 38 year old well traveled educated , i go in thinking oh local place ill try. Im oldschool winstons and tangere and tonic with a lime wedge , this sad excuse for a barkeep put " gin" and water no lime " amy". My family owned a real restaraunt jakes post rd grill rt 114 danvers ma. A good barkeep talks puts pep in their step. Absolute white trash then a some local " mafia " guy walking around talking that filth felt proud coming their 50 years? Wow i feel bad buddy And barkeep im not asking im telling you ill stop by poke my head in for a full refund Waste of time i never write reviews they dont need this because every seat was empty already

This bar is an awesome place to hangout and grab a beer for the game! With cheap drinks, darts and a great staff my friends and I have loved gathering there to have a good time. One of the only places in Southie I have found which offers the small town bar vibe. Highly recommend!

I need a new phone if you ever need to come to a place for good conversation and authentic drinks this is the place. Definitely not trying to drain your pockets and the atmosphere is wonderful. Extremely clean and covert safe establishment next to public transportation. Great place to grab a drink after work and gather with others. Will definitely be back.
